“The Royal Victoria Hotel gets so much right it hardly seems worth mentioning anything it falls down on- but for info I'll mention the TV in the lounge was broken so no World Cup, and the room was warm at night- but that's a common experience across the industry. The food, service, gardens, cleanliness and interiors were superb. This was our second visit; standards still as high as ever. And the food at the restaurant - it's knockout. A credit to the region.”
