“Superb stay - all the staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. Room was comfortable and clean - nice touch having water and biscuits. Breakfast was excellent - very well cooked . A few spaces for parking outside but we also found street parking easily enough nearby. Very handy for the pier, orme & promenade - all about 5 mins walk. Would definitely stay again.”

“Richard is very much the 'Host with the Most'. Very chatty and friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. He went above and beyond for us...Carrying our cases up to the top floor...And down again when we left. Plus he does a cracking packed lunch. Our room was more than adequate, comfy and clean. The only gripe from our point of view is that we'd prefer proper cups and spoons...”

“I rated all the things I liked.....only one small issue....a slightly off putting shower...it was one with a fitting to each tap..hot/cold over a bath....but due to a panel being fixed half way along the bath you had to be under it to gauge the water temparature.... needless to say I gave it a miss..... they need to install an electric shower maybe?”

“This is a fabulous little hotel and we were delighted with our three night stay. James and Amy are wonderful hosts who put their heart and soul into their place and nothing is too much trouble. Our room had plenty of space and the bed was very comfortable. The common areas were lovely, and the breakfast was great. An easy 20 to 30 minute stroll to town, or short drive, so a great base for all that this region has to offer.”
