“Lovely building and very close to town centre, all the staff are lovely - friendly and helpful. Our room was ok but not as clean as it should have been, only 1 set of towels on arrival, shower gel was empty. All got resolved though as soon as I requested. We hung up our towels to re-use but they were changed each day. Free bottled water provided each day and good tea and coffee set up. Bed was comfortable. “Bedroom and bathroom were clean, comfortable and spacious and domestic staff very friendly. However - catering was terrible. I arrived to be told no evening meals were being served. There was no mention of this on the website, nor when I'd phoned the hotel a couple of days earlier to confirm my booking for a dog. The nearest eateries are 2 miles away. When I told the receptionist that I didn't have a car and had arrived by bus her reply was 'Well you can go back then, the buses are every hour'....
