The host, Dean was unhelpful and obstructive when a big carrier bag filled with , crisps, popcorn, biscuits and chocolate was “ mistaken “ for rubbish and removed from our family room without a clear explanation. A refund of the cost was offered but I said thank you but refused as it was the principle of the matter as we were there for two nights and this was the first day. “Margaret was incredibly helpful in providing suggestions on how to navigate the city and provided excellent suggestions for restaurants. The morning breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was very spacious, the couch was very comfortable and the bed was fantastic. After a full day of walking around Dover, this was a very special retreat. The views are just amazing. We will plan a trip to spend more time with Margaret.”

“Great location - walking distance to town centre for shops and restaurants and cafes - short drive to beach. Had a takeaway from the Thai restaurant - very good Accommodation was very comfortable and hosts very friendly. Breakfast was put out for us to help ourselves in the pottery shop each morning and was a good start to the day with fresh fruit and croissants. Reliable WiFi we were able to watch Wimbledon with no problems. All in all a delightful stay and would definitely stay again.”
