“What a great find! Stayed two nights at this beautiful heritage listed (1500’s) hotel and cannot fault it. From the staff to the rooms (quite small but had everything we needed and very comfortable) to the restaurant and the hotels many and varied public rooms, everything was excellent. The town is such a lovely old town with a number of sites to visit as well. We are very happy that we found this hotel. ”

“Purbeck hotel was a last minute decision and one I was very happy to have made. I stayed in the lodge, great sized rooms. Staff were lovely and helpful, made me feel at home. Location was great for the town and the Swanage railway, the reason why I was in town. I did not have breakfast as was out early so cannot comment on that side. Very close to the main attractions and reception staff were really friendly and attentive. Expect a basic room but my room was clean and spacious and a very good as a base to explore town. “La camera arredata con lo stile Best Western e molto pulita. La disponibilità del portiere di notte che ha aperto a mezzanotte dopo la mia telefonata. Il check-in è garantito anche quando l'albergo è chiuso ma ho dovuto telefonare perché non esiste un campanello sulla porta esterna per gli ospiti che arrivano di notte. Ottima e abbondante la colazione. ”

“Good place to stay if you want to be central. Parking is in the main car park underneath the shopping mall. Check in was easy and quick. The only minor issue is breakfast. Not enough tables and the quality of food wasn't great. Some residents had nowhere to sit anf i think you could split some of the tables for four into two's so that more couples can sit separately. Never easy when strangers ask to share your table. The ground floor are also had a funny smell as you walkied through. Not sure...
