“Everything about this property was lovely, the decor and garden were beautiful, bed comfy and good bathroom. The owners were warm and welcoming. Breakfast delicious. Nice quiet neighbourhood yet only a short drive to beachfront. Couldn’t ask for anything else. Only one slight criticism was the bedroom was very hot. Otherwise perfect. Definitely one to return to. ”

“Great location and lovely view! Only the reception team needs to improve their service! They all seemed very rude! Also we had such a lovely view from our terrace but couldn’t enjoy it from inside as windows were super dirty from fingerprints everywhere. Anyway would love to go back! ”

“I opted for the bed & breakfast package which was totally worth it. Although the rooms were small, they were clean and had ample space for 2 adults. Amenities were good - hot chocolate, tea with milk, and sugar were a nice touch. The breakfast in the dining room was lovely. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the town center but it is a nice walk to pier -along the boardwalk.”

“Purbeck hotel was a last minute decision and one I was very happy to have made. I stayed in the lodge, great sized rooms. Staff were lovely and helpful, made me feel at home. Location was great for the town and the Swanage railway, the reason why I was in town. I did not have breakfast as was out early so cannot comment on that side. If I was looking for a negative point then my tv didn’t work (I wasn’t in the room much anyway) and the shower/bath could be better (showerhead needs improvement...
