“This is honestly the first time I’ve ever written a negative review. The hotel itself is beautiful and iconic, and the rooms are very nice. However, the Gatehouse building is far from what I would consider a 5-star experience — the common areas and even the hallways clearly need renovation. “Even that I told I bought my lift tickets before coming to the hotel, they charged me the amount of lifts of every day that I stayed. That’s absurd and I complained to them, however I needed to drive to Calgary and I was running out of time. “This is a gem. Everything in this suite was perfect. The toiletries are excellent, the kitchen is fully equipped, the bed linens are wonderful, the hosts are kind and accommodating, the location and views are excellent, and it’s dog-friendly. The pool and hot tub are great features, but I didn’t get a chance to use them on this trip. Next time...I know I’ll be back!”
