“Absolutely amazing stay for two nights. Host/owner is incredibly kind and helpful- even offered some honey/lemon for my sore throat! I stayed in the beautiful, clean room with the lovely, clean private bathroom with a fantastic tub. The private bathroom was located down a private hallway, which is so much nicer than having to go to/from it amongst other guests. “Mark was very accommodating and my room was really big and comfortable Water pressure very good for having a shower I only stayed 1 night but I know the area very well and the guest house is a short walk from most places in town but quiet and peaceful guest house location Penrith is a beautiful picture postcard town and very handy base for traveling to the Lake District I will certainly be booking again I didn’t stay for breakfast but the menu look delicious ”
