“Nicholas Cage was definitely an unexpected surprise. But was a unique experience that I’m sure me and my friends will joke about for time to come. I did think the front yard look messy with the excessive amount of trees. And stair to the loft are steep and should be included in the listing. Those are just minor inconveniences out experience was over all a great one and I would choose this place again.”

“We spent a few nights in Galena to kick off our spring break and this cabin was the perfect fit for our family. We were so relaxed in the wooded surroundings and hope to return one day when the weather would allow us to enjoy the incredible deck! My teens loved the hot tub and we all played pool together in the evenings. It’s a spacious home that has been carefully tended to by its owners. We had an easy check-in and the owner was very responsive when needed. It’s a short drive to area...

“Genesis was a great host! Communication was top notch the entire time from the start of the booking to check out! Property is in a central location that’s easy to access!! Keep in mind that there is quite a bit of traffic on the main road all night, but that’s much of New Orleans. Overall it was a nicely appointed house, clean, & close to 2 grocery stores. Our stay was short so we didn’t get the full experience, but I would likely stay there again if needed.”

“Absolutely beautiful, quiet farm location. Lodgings are scrupulously clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was bigger than my bedroom! Lovely host gave us a quick tour of the property, and we met a 2-week old filly. We will stay here again!”

“They provided snacks and were welcoming and friendly. Cute neighborhood with good places to eat within a block or two and very close to the parks! My only note is that it smelled a little off and it may have been to do with the AC being in a window near the dumpsters behind the property? Not sure because the house was spotless! Maybe a glade plug in or such to keep it smelling fresh?”

The manager was in touch and extremely responsive. The location is also perfect. Can’t say enough great things about this place, just beautiful!”

“One of two houses for an annual friends’ getogether. All amenities and features were as advertised. The bedrooms and en suites were clean and comfortable. The living area was attractive and welcoming. This was definitely a great choice for us.”

“Dirty, animal hair everywhere, stunk of animals, mouse traps everywhere, mouse poop all over, clothes in the dryer, shower faucet was half broken, bed sheets and animals hair, not a 4 bedroom as advertised, air mattresses all had holes. Not at all acceptable for a "vacation rental", 2 nights we stayed and it was not cheap, I expected way more.”

“Our group enjoyed our stay at this property. The description and pictures of the house were accurate. Our group of eight particularly liked the front sitting room where we could all sit and visit. The house is located in an historical area of Arabi and we felt safe staying there. Be aware that another apartment could be rented above your space during your stay which was the case during our stay. Voices, sounds (music) and footsteps are easily picked up on the main floor.”

“This was a very comfortable unit. Quite neighborhood. Within a few minutes to Beale Street! Everything was clean and well supplied with everything you would need, with the exception of food. A bit of snafu on entering the home, but I do not have email on my phone. The owner arrived within 3 minutes of a phone call. He was great!”

“Pros: Lugar muy amplio y céntrico, departamento muy equipado, a 20 min de bourbon st. Contras: si son mas de dos personas, el agua caliente no es suficiente, por si te quieres dar un buen baño.. será con agua helada. Indican que se puede pedir un check out extendido pero no te da opcion la liga. Asi que la salida es si o si a las 11 am. Ni pagando extra, adicional que los ventiladores de techo y la luz se prenden continuamente sin control, en la madrugada te pueden sacar un buen susto.”
