“It was my first stay at The Chudleigh, the outside of the building is beautiful, inside, the areas are clean and tidy, the owner and all the staff are very welcoming, extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with a very comfy bed, nice furniture and the hotel provided lovely little extras. The breakfast room was lovely and the food absolutely delicious. “A lovely property with a great pub. The food was excellent and thankfully the weather was sunny and warm. What a wonderful evening to eat outside in their Olive Garden. The owners and the staff were all so helpful in guiding us to a sweet evening stroll. We knew they had great reviews and they are well deserved. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and cool. “Nice room with large ensuite. Only stayed 1 night but room was quiet and very comfortable. 20 mins walk to main centre. Only bad thing was roadworks and diversions everywhere but not property's fault!”

“It was perfect for the lone female business self employed traveller and had everything I needed , fridge, microwave. These were a godsend. Only thing I would change is the height of the basin and mirror in the bathroom . I’m a average height female at 5’ 4” and the basin and mirror are set at a 6’2” male I’m sure lol apart from that all good would definitely stay again :) ”
