“At first, seemed an ideal property. It wasn't. Arrived to the property about 9pm after a long day. Tried the door code. It didn't work. Attempted multiple times, before contacting the unit hosts. They never shared a phone number, so waiting for message to go through, on the worst internet connection we have seen since 2010. Finally get a message stating since this is a costal area the door sticks, so to rock the door while the code is making noise... husband tried 4 times before the broken lock...

“The inside looks exactly like the pictures, and the host always replied to my messages. However, we did have a few issues. The fenced yard was messy with chairs and cushions all over, and there were 2 areas where the pavers were sinking into the ground. We did need our sheets changed due to sand-like material on the pillow and sheet. The AC was leaking, so we had to put a pan under it and continuously change it. Finally, the guests upstairs were walking around, dropping things and moving things...

“This is an affordable place to stay with a pet. Positives were the place was clean and quiet. As cute as it was remodeled , it still had the disadvantages of an older property such as low water pressure, door sticking and window ACs. We enjoy our short stay and it met our needs.”

“It was good to find a place that accepted our 2 dogs, as we had to evacuate our home due to hurricane Milton. ”

“Terrible- first time ever posting a review, but I feel like it needs to be said. NOT as advertised. Showed up and the place was dark and no where to park, did not feel safe. Immediately contacted both VRBO and the host asking for a refund. Stayed at hotel a few miles away. Three weeks later still no response from either VRBO or the host. ”

“This was the worst place I ever rented. BEWARE they call you a few hours before your trip starts to tell you the unit isn’t available then with no other option switch you into a hell hole of a place that windows and doors didn’t even lock in a bad neighborhood only to say you have to wait till the following day to get help. Now we’re fighting to get our money back we left and booked a hotel I wouldn’t even feel safe letting my dogs stay there. No contact since I requested a refund. ”

“I took pictures when we got there and things were not what the pictures on site said to be . The TV is not secure to the wall and the legs under the bed was not screwed into the bed right and the fire alarm was hanging from the ceiling .the doors to patio were not closed correctly but we fixed those so it would be safe . ”
