University of Montevallo son visit
Our son plays baseball at UM. We are from Texas so a more “home” atmosphere suited us better them hotel. The property was 12 minutes from campus and accommodations were perfect for a relaxing weekend of family and baseball games. We bought groceries and utilized the kitchen as well. We definitely recommend and we hope to stay there again next visit.

Great stay in your cozy barn!
Thank you so much, we had a great time at your place! It was stocked with everything we needed, included children's games for our visiting family who stopped by, and we appreciate you getting back to us so promptly when they needed to stay the night! The grounds were absolutely beautiful, though we didn't get a full exploration in this time. We were really impressed with your cozy barn and will be back if we visit the area again. 😀

Quirky
The decor was amazing... so fun. My granddaughters had a blast going up and down the ladder to the loft area. Having the washer and dryer available was great. Loved the bed linens and the beds were very comfortable, definitely had enough sleeping areas. I feel it could have been dusted a little better. Overall was very nice, quirky, but nice. Very memorable Thanksgiving vacation.

Best Mom alone time retreat!!
It was so relaxing. It had everything you could possibly need. The shower was FABULOUS!!! stewart & Lynite were so incredibly nice. I’m definitely making it a semi-annual solo retreat from now on. I finally found a place to rest and have peace and quiet in the cutest/nicest barn ever 😊

The Barn is Amazing
The Barn was everything we could have imagined. Very cool, rustic interior. Super comfortable place to hang out and could sleep 11 comfortably. A/C worked well and kept us cool in summer. Kitchen was very well stocked. Laundry on site was great. The property is amazing. Beautiful pastures, quiet, loved watching the sheep graze over coffee in the morning. Very tranquil and serene. Easy commute to Hoover and Birmingham area. Groceries and restaurants only a few minutes away but felt like you were miles away from civilization. I could retire here. Welcome hosts are next door, left us alone but responded immediately to any questions we had.

Lay Lake visit
We came to Alabama to watch our son compete in a Bassmaster tournament, and we stayed here at this beautiful barn. It was really perfect. Very clean, had everything we needed for our stay, and was a great location. Stewart was always available, and he was very accommodating for our stay. It's a must stay if you are in this area.

The Barn was amazing
This cute little barn was even better than we anticipated it to be. Two moms with 2 teenage daughters playing volleyball in Hoover for the weekend. Location was convenient and out of the hustle of the city/hotels. Decorated so cute. We absolutely loved the deer on the wall. High recommend renting this property.

Mini Vacation
I was meeting my first new grandson for a mini vacation. The Barn was the halfway driving time for each of us so it worked out perfectly! We will back for sure,either at the Barn are one of the of properties this host has! This was my first VRBO experience, it was better than I expected!

Perfect for my mission
I was attending a flight training facility nearby, and it worked great for my need to have a quiet place to study. I was dealing with some overseas jetlag, and this place was the ticket. Grocery within 10 minutes, fast food as well as restaurants.

Perfect stay for winery girls trip
We stayed here for a girls trip to the nearby Ozan Winery and loved it. The barn is so cute and rustic along with the surrounding country area. Even though there’s only 1 bathroom, the bedrooms had plenty of big mirrors for us to use while getting ready. The main living area was perfect for us to hang out and play games. Loved having access to all the kitchen amenities also. The property manager responded promptly to all of my texts and even provided us with an extension cord on request! Great experience.

“Relaxing Overnight Stay”
We were looking for a place to stay on our way to Gulf Shores. It had great reviews. It was a very beautiful, safe, clean, and quiet area. We went to one of the recommended places for supper. I think it was a local brewery. The food was amazing. The owner quickly responded to any questions I had. The bed(downstairs)that I slept in was very comfortable. We even took a walk the next morning. Such a beautiful neighborhood!

Loved this place!
We wanted to be a bit away from Birmingham to enjoy a little quiet while attending the World Games over the weekend. We had a blast. I am sorry we did not spend more time at the Barn, but we enjoyed the time we were on site. The kitchen was great, and we were able to make a delicious breakfast each day before heading out. We loved seeing all the ideas and the shower is amazing. Thanks for letting us enjoy your peaceful location.

The Barn Take Two!
Our 2nd stay was wonderful, just as the first. It was my daughter and me both stays. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We played ladderball, Foosball, darts, cooked a nice dinner, walked out back, and slept great. Although it was for surgery the first time last year and followup appointments this time, we enjoyed our time together. Thank you to Stewart!
