“Great communication with host. Clean, comfortable and quiet spot. The two full size beds accomodated three of us well enough, and there is an air bed in LR closet if we had wanted more space. Large LR, good usable kitchen. Big bathroom with laundry right there.”

“The view of the Truckee River and the surrounding city and hills is wonderful. The place is very clean and nice. There is even an instruction on how to find the light switch in the bathroom -- many might not think to do that. We walked the river walk and enjoyed some of the restaurants around. We recommend this location.”

“We were there for my daughter’s volleyball tournament and stayed there with a friend of hers. Property was as described and owner/manager was very responsive. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it had everything we needed.”

“Everything about the property was great and as described. The only problem was that there was a patch of broken glass that my daughter found with her foot. I guess the housecleaner didn't thoroughly vacuum.”

“Property was in a great part of town- walkable distance to riverwalk, restaurants and downtown. Neighborhood was safe, clean and welcoming. Studio was originally rented for just for two of the family members but four stayed comfortably. Beds are newer and comfortable- made a difference in quality of stay. Studio has new and fresh standard amenities. Having direct access to laundry room was a huge benefit to the stay.”

“My husband and I were in town for a friends wedding and I was so lucky to have found this listing! The owner was so pleasant and welcoming! As we approached the caboose were were both so excited to see how ever this could be converted to a little studio but oh my!! It was literally perfect!! The host had coffee and tea and such thoughtful touches. I would definitely recommend staying here if your visiting VC”

“Not a good neighborhood to stay in town, but that’s just secondary. The property wasn’t clean. Dirty bed sheet and no extra one to replace. Dog hairs all over the couch. It didn’t get clean up before we check in.”

“Beautiful Lakefront Escape for a Large Family Gathering. My family of 9 adults and 1 toddler stayed at House of the Stars over the holidays to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. The host was extremely accommodating, allowing us an early check-in so we could settle in before the celebrations began.
