“Professional service and a well kept hotel with great facilities ”

“Beautiful hotel, old building which has been done up to a really high standard but you still see the classy almost castle like feel of it. Staff were very friendly and kind. I really enjoyed the decor in the room and around the hotel, the spacious room and extremely comfortable bed. Only slight problem was the radiators filled with water at 6am and it woke us both up from the noise untill I had to get out of bed and turn off. Was quite upset about it but receptionist seemed surprised so assume...

“Couldn't fault our stay. Staff were all friendly, helpful and efficient. Room was very clean. Breakfast, included, had a large selection of hot and cold items and being self service was quick. Evening meal was excellent and about the same price as trekking into Bowness on a cold wet evening.”
