“First, the positive: terrific location. Steps from the station. No response through their Expedia or direct messaging link, so we called directly. We were told we'd receive a check-in code. Received it right at 3, so find wi-fi or make sure you have data - and don't plan for an even slightly early check-in if you're arriving by train (as most do). A company across the street rents storage lockers. Good price, friendly owner. Very small room. No closet. TV is the size of a small computer...

“A new, sparkling clean and well equipped luxury lodge. The owners were extremely helpful and were on hand should we have needed them. They had even left some little extras for us which made the whole experience feel extra special. A perfect coupes get away and we will definitely be back.”

“Lovely holiday lodge with a modern yet cosy vibe, in a tranquil park setting and Ideally located for access to either Windermere or Ambleside, both being within just a 5 min drive. The lodge right next to it was a bit rowdy at times but the noise did not last too late/past midnight ….overall though the park was perfectly peaceful.”
