Better than the photos

This home was a delight to stay in. The rooms were spacious and the home was very clean. They really thought of everything too, such as pet supplies, fire supplies, and went above and beyond your normal rental house basic amenities. We appreciate those nice touches! The backyard is fenced in and the two bedrooms are separated so there is plenty of privacy. Each bedroom has a smart TV, but there is not one in the living room. The house is a short walk to the local general store. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again one day.

Mountain Relaxation

We enjoyed our stay in this quaint little cabin nestled in a nice neighborhood off Christopher Creek. Cabin had great outdoor living space and was well stocked.

Nice spot in the woods

Nice cabin in the woods. Great spot for strolling or just hanging out front in the adirondack chairs watching neighbors go by; who were all very friendly. Backyard smaller than the photos, but so nice to have it fenced for the pups. Spent more time out front, with doggies attached to long leads brought from home to place around trees. Never did cook a meal, only toast for breakfast, since it was my birthday weekend. It appeaed there were plenty of plates for dining; however no cocktail glasses. Only large plastic cups and 3 large plastic stemless wine glasses. These we used for all our cocktails on the rocks. There were a few issues with cleaning and repairs needed, which we addressed separately with the management company. Hopefully those will be corrected before visiting again. We have stayed in many rental homes over the past 20 years; since hotels are not private and so confining and noisy. Especially when my husband and I have different sleep schedules and able to stay quiet for the one sleeping. We thank you all for sharing your homes!

Cabin in the woods

My family had a great time at this charming cabin in the woods. The location was perfect for hiking and enjoying nearby parks. It was great place to relax and enjoy the ambiance.

Stay at Ashby Cabin

My dad and I really enjoyed our stay at the Ashby Apple Cabin. The cabin is very unique and charming. We enjoyed our walks at night where we met some very friendly neighbors and saw lots of wildlife. We also enjoyed the porch swings out front. We would definitely stay there again!

Needs A Good Scrub

Was initially impressed with home, ease of access and location, but upon being there its apparent the "cleaning crew" is limited to making the bed and putting out clean towels. Bathrooms were dirty, rugs not vacuumed, dusty through out, back door leading to the lovely patio was covered with dried on dog slobber, dishes in the dishwasher with water at the bottom. For the most part we were only there for a few nights and decided to make the best of it and just not say anything. But upon arriving home we had a message asking us if we had taken a basket of water bottles left as a gift...we reported we had never seen such a "gift" and they replied that they had found it under a cabinet. (Probably where cleaning supplies were). So we decided when solicited by Evolve (property mgr) for feedback the owners would not see we reported on the condition of the property. Never heard back from them. When I posted a similar review on Evolve's site stating negative comments about the cleanliness they did not post my review..I've seen numerous reviews since our stay and ours is ommitted. We have been using VRBO since 2014 and will continue to do so but avoiding any property listing EVOLVE as a Premier Host.

christopher creek cabin

This is such a cute cabin. Rustic in a good way, The neighborhood is super fun and a great place to walk around. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. We did have some issues with the water (apparently the local water company was working on the pipes and didn't tell anyone) but other than that we had a good time.
