Magically Relaxing
I went to this property over new years weekend with three friends. The house was perfectly sized for all of us. We had such a good time exploring the property, hanging out in the hot tub, and relaxing on the back porch. The property the house is on is absolutely beautiful. The house itself is charming and has the perfect amount of squeak to it's floors. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make our own meals. Communication with the owner was very easy and fast and they were nothing but incredibly kind. Would ABSOLUTELY stay here again.

Excellent property!
What an amazing place to stay! From the fresh cut flowers, the goody basket, candy jar, and fire setup everything was superb. Check in was a breeze. Communication was excellent with the host and we felt they went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The house is quite charming and surrounded by your very own piece of paradise. The scenery, relaxing creek, and pond were all huge highlights. The only regret I have about this stay was not staying longer. The family and dogs can’t wait to return!!

Wonderful privacy.
Property was amazing and secluded. Our dog loved the stream even though that mountain water is cold lol. Enjoyed walking around the property. Great fire 1 night. Loved that we had so many choices on where to have a fire. Only suggestion was the wood was not split. Maybe have a split maw available. Only issue was we did not see any fish. Even tried some bread but seems there are none. Other than that it was fantastic.

The cabin is in such a beautiful area. We all really enjoys the creek . The host was amazing and we will definitely return.

Great Place but not really away from it all
We booked this place to relax and retreat. It is beautiful. Everything was great except having an audience when I was in the hot tub in my bikini with my wine and dog running around. Did we get a warning the property was being shown for a possible wedding? We did but we weren't exactly checking our phones. It was in the middle of nowhere and just beautiful but if you want a true get away, this isn't it. I saw my family spending a lot of time here but it is turning into a event venue. Don't blame the owners at all but it didn't fit the bill for us having a yard full of folks about 200 yards away while trying to get the dog inside, wet, in the middle of winter... mmmm. The rest of the weekend was toast. We didn't know when a group might be coming back. Getting married? Perfect spot!

Great time at remote property
Great getaway for the family lots of space to play and relax. So many stars! Great communication with the hosts when we needed really appreciate that! Highly recommend.

Purlear Visit
Pros: This was our 2nd stay at the cabin - the first was about 5 years ago in the Spring and we loved it enough to want a return visit. The cabin is charming, immaculate, and well-stocked. A washer and dryer were added upstairs since we were there the first time. We were greeted with a lovely goodie basket and bottle of wine. The upstairs bedroom is very comfortable. Cons: The weather during this stay was quite cold and we were disappointed when we were informed that we were not able to use the wood stove. We didn't know this until we received our check-in information about 2 days before our trip. Had we known that when we booked the cabin, it might have been a deal-breaker. There is a propane heater in the main room which heats that space only, leaving the bedrooms and bathroom cold and had to be run the entire length of our visit. There is a lot of construction going on and although active construction only took place on the day we arrived, the changes to the property were not what we expected based on our very different first visit. We were impressed with the vision and development of the property by the owners, but it was not we envisioned for a much needed getaway.

Great, secluded spot
My wife and I enjoyed staying here with our dog and walking around the property. It's easy to kick back and relax here without the hustle and bustle of town. It's a bit tricky to get to, and I'd recommend going for the first time while it's light out, but it's definitely worth it once you're here.
