“The communication with Avantstay was terrible. They didn’t send the access code until we got there and had to call them, which was a very long wait with the answering machine. The access is terrible. We carried large luggage because of the ski gear, and we had to carry them around for more than two blocks, and then there was no elevator. “We booked the Chalet because it seemed like an out of the way, tranquill place, up in the mountains, yet not too far from Durango. And that is exactly what it is. Just a lovely, comfortable little place, with the bonus of a hot tub!! We went to Durango mainly to ride the train and spend some time in the mountains. We had a wonderful time and Lindsey was a wonderful host and attentive to our needs. ”
