“Wonderful little place in Ybor City area! Our host was very communicative and detailed. The place is super cute, cozy, and was nice and cool in the hot May weather and we slept great. The place was easy to find, quiet and clean and tidy. It had everything we needed for an evening in Tampa. The only negative was the shower was out of body wash and the hand soap at the bathroom sink vanity was out, but we had brought some of our own and there was a bottle of body wash although it was “for men”....

“The area was great and we felt safe walking around town. The kitchenette was stocked well even though we didn't use it. If we are able to come back to St. Pete we would likely stay here again.”

“The 1888 is an unconventional “hotel,” really an unmanned guest house but one supported by 24 hour service by phone and text as needed. The reps were extremely responsive to any query and they keep in touch with multiple texts throughout the stay. The Casita is a private cottage at the rear of the property with two bedrooms to sleep 4 and a couch that doubles as a single bed; this place would not sleep 3 couples but it worked out fine for our group of 5. It is nicely appointed with a kitchen...
