  • Beautiful solar powered home for couples who enjoy wine tasting and hosting friends. Yelp shows there are 40 wineries, tasting rooms or vinyard within a ten mile radius of this property. Enjoy a 360 degree stunning view which includes Rattlesnake Mountain, the orchards and vineyards of Benton City, WA, plus the orchards and vineyards of Red Mountain. Interesting wine note: Red Mountain has it's own AVA. Entertain friends on the patio while relaxing in comfortable outdoor chairs. Soak in the beautiful sunsets. Enjoy cooking in a well-stocked kitchen with large spice collection or outside on the BBQ. Kitchen has a conventional oven and stove top as well as a microwave and air-fryer.

    Listen to the soothing sound from small pond near the window. Take a stroll and enjoy the desert style landscape viewing sage brush and native plants. Sip your favorite Washington wine on the patio with fantastic view or in front of the wood stove on a cold winter night. Hot tub near the patio is available for guests to relax and enjoy the view.

    This is a beautiful home to visit any time of the year. Flat screen TV's in every bedroom and living room. The installed solar system will generate more power than you will consume during your stay.

    Free electric vehicle charging in the garage and 50A, 30A x 240VAC RV box outside for your RV needs.

House is like home, very welcoming. We've stayed several years and it is always clean and comfortable. The house is well stocked and nicely maintained. Jim gets back to you quickly if you have any questions or issues.

Super comfortable and well appointed house. We cooked dinner and 2 breakfasts and were impressed with the availability of cookware and spices. Place is super clean and comfortable and a great location for exploring the wineries around Red Mountain. Would happily return.

We had a wonderful experience here. The house was very clean and it is in a great location. The beds were comfortable and the house had all the amenities for an easy stay. Thanksforbeinggreat host.

Wonderful Home

Very clean, private property with an amazing view of the stars at night! My family and I enjoyed playing games out on the patio. Jim was a kind host. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely home

The home was clean with all the amenities needed for a comfortable weekend away. The owner communicated regularly and quickly. The location was close to wineries, hiking and local attractions. We'd stay here again!

Great Location

We had a great girls trip. The home was perfect for our stay and had everything we needed to make meals. Perfect location to the wineries and great interaction with owner when we had questions.

Fantastic Location, Incredible Sunset Views

We had 2 wine loving couples stay here for the weekend in Yakima wine country and had a phenomenal stay! The photos do NOT do the views justice and spending 2 sunsets in the hot tub with wine that we bought locally was THE most amazing experience! The house was clean and comfortable with VERY nice bedding. We very much enjoyed the hot tub & fire pit in the evenings. We all agreed, all of us would return to this property 100% on future stays in the TriCities.

Wonderful place to stay

This is a great home with that was so comfortable to stay to spend away in. It was the best stocked home I've stayed in. Everything you need in the kitchen and more was available to use which really made it a home away from home.

Jim’s house is lovely and well appointed! I appreciate the lengths he has gone to in order to be environmentally conscious. He was a gracious host and we appreciated the bottle of wine left on the counter to welcome us. It was a little closer to the interstate than we realized so light sleepers might want earplugs but other than that, it was a great homemade to explore the local wineries!
