Great location, fabulous view

We really enjoyed our stay and are sad that this unit is for sale. Who knows if the new owners will be renting it or not? It was sparkling clean, although it's a little shabby (or well-loved, depending on your point of view). Kitchen is very well stocked. Most of all, you can't beat the view from the balconies. One small note: there is no convenient place in the carport for recharging an electric vehicle. There is a GFI outlet, but it does not work.

Perfect location!

The location of this home is the best! It’s so easy to walk out to the beach and come back as needed. Having adequate bath towels and linens provided also made packing so much easier. There was plenty of space for our family and we had a great trip!

Bethany 2023

We have been in larger more well appointed homes over our 35 years of renting at the beach…but loved this one the most! The location is perfect for fisherman and families who tolerate them lol! The proximity of the beach and number of decks and porches is superb! The neighborhood is so family friendly. Most importantly, the Host was accommodating, accessible and friendly! Hope to rent here again next year. The only negative that you should be prepared for is that you need to go outside to the laundry in a shed type structure under the car port.

Clean House With Easy Beach Access

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is right on the beach which felt very private because it is not open to public access. The house was clean and had lots of seating areas inside and out - it looked much nicer in person than in pictures. The kitchen had all the amenities/supplies we needed. Most restaurants were a 10-15 min drive; same with the Bethany and Rehoboth boardwalks. Two of the bedrooms are separated by an accordion door divider and they are MUCH smaller than the other two bedrooms so I would just make your group is aware of that. Host was super responsive to questions (responded within minutes).

Great stay in Atlantic Watergate

We just got home from a perfect week at Atlantic Watergate. The house was a great fit for my family of 4 and my sister’s. The house was clean upon arrival and check-in with the code was super easy. The kitchen was well stocked and there was ample seating even when we had some extended family over for dinner. The views from the 2nd floor room were amazing and we loved waking up to the sunrise every day. Already talking about our next trip!

Location, Location, Location!

We loved staying at this beach house. The location was incredible, just steps to the waves in the ocean. The house is cozy and comfortable and has everything you might need. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of spaces for family meals or a game of cards or Monopoly. The picnic table on the screened in porch was fun for the kids, they loved having lunches out there. Having three levels was nice for extended family. The beds were comfy, bathrooms were nice and the views were beyond amazing. I would definitely like to stay here again (and again, and again and again). The owner was also very kind and responsive to inquiries.

Great beach location

Wonderful location, responsive owner. In addition to watching sunrises on the beach and falling asleep to the tides, we enjoyed our annual meals at Matt's Fish Camp, walking down memory lane at Rheoboth Boardwalk, catching crabs at Holt's Landing, and take-out BBQ from Charlie K's. A well anticipated yearly beach vacation. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Perfect Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Amazing location if you’re booking a beach vacation (it’s literally in your backyard). Very convenient when travelling with children and adults who don’t feel like lugging every single thing they own down to the beach. The house was spacious – plenty of room for our group of 5 adults and 3 children. Plenty of space to sit outside and enjoy dinner or some quiet time after the kids have gone to sleep. Fairly private considering you only have neighbors on one side. Short driving distance to shops & restaurants. The beach was only “crowded” one day that we were there. Even then, there was plenty of room for everyone. It was a nice mix of families, couples, and groups who just want to spend some time in the sun. The owner of the home was very nice, accommodating, and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Best unit we've found after 10 years of renting

The location of this unit is amazing. Most oceanfront properties require about a 30 - 50 yard walk across dunes and then another 30 - 50 yards to the ocean. I know this is probably not a big deal to most people but this unit,10 -15 STEPS out the back door and you are directly on the beach. This is priceless. The owner is also very responsive and great to work with. We will be staying again and looking forward to next year.

We were very pleased with the property. It very comfortably housed our four adults and two children.

The house was located on a perfect beach. We all loved it, and the children were delighted with it, spending hours splashing in the ocean, building sand castles, and flying kites. We reveled in stunning sunrises, enjoyed long walks along the shoreline, and spent tranquil evenings on the lower deck to the sound of breaking surf and occasionally stepping out on the beach to see the stars, the Moon, and the planet Mars. Truly magical. The area of Bethany the house was in was uncrowded and provided many other attractions, including visits to the Delaware state park that was within walking distance, the Indian River Bay that was just across the road and available for kayak touring and fishing, and the Bethany Beach boardwalk that was within a short drive and provided a host of diversions, including eating, shopping, and just strolling and enjoying the people and the environment. The children particularly enjoyed the Arcade with its dozens of games to play. We're keeping this property in mind for next year and recommend it for others.
