The host was very nice and offered to be accommodating when we checked in and the house was in big need of a deep clean. I just encouraged the owner (with pictures he asked me to send confirming my findings) to please pass on to the cleaner as many just routine maintenance things had not been addressed. We declined to have the cleaners come back as we had a small window of time to be there and having them come back would have earned several hours into the time we had already paid to be in the house. All in all, this home is adequate, but could use some refreshing and restocking of items it showed were there (ie. cookie sheets). Towels and such could use a refresh as well as they smelled moldy. The home has great bones and floor space, the games on site (shuffleboard especially) and the back porch space was fantastic! The hot tub did not appear to have been drained and cleaned in a while and that was a bit of a disappointment, but we made it all work and had a great time. Again, the bones are good, just time for a serious deep clean and a refresh! We declined the cleaner coming back (as I stated earlier) because we checked in at the stated check in time and that is when we discovered the needs for major cleaning. We elected to just pass on the pics and info and not lose time we had paid for having someone in the house cleaning while we were there to relax.
