After booking for our trip for July, I was contacted by the owner, Roberto, asking if we would like to use the air conditioner and if so it would be an additional 25 a day! I was caught off guard because air conditioning is listed as an amenity and it also states all consumables are included. At this point I tell him to cancel our reservation because I felt it was unfair but was told it was non-refundable so we felt pressured to pay so we didn’t lose 1022. After Roberto met us at the property, the air conditioning was turned on but kept shutting off. We left to visit family and Roberto had someone fix the issue that evening and he said he would reimburse us 25 for the day of no air conditioning but we did not receive a refund. The property is listed as a 3 bedroom home that sleeps 5, however at check-in, we were told we could not use the third bedroom that had the other double bed, there were no sheets, pillows or blankets and the surfaces were covered in dust, so my adult son was forced to sleep in a tiny twin bed for the week.
