Not a mansion, not a hot tub, not 5 real bedrooms, add on charges galore
SO many things! I'll bullet list to make it short! Overall the host was incredibly nice and easy to talk to on the phone, but for an introvert who wanted a private, peaceful stay, this wasn't it.* Not a mansion - stained carpet and overt religious decor in most rooms diminished the luxury feel* No swimming pool waterfall without asking the host* No heat in the hot tub without asking the host -subject to additional fee for 4-hour blocks of hot tub being heated.* Two bedrooms were almost unusable - very difficult to enter * Frequent communication with host is almost necessary, so a private peaceful stay was a no* Kitchen is filthy - all pots and pans in cabinets were dirty, gnats in kitchen cabinets*Rules sent 24 hrs before check-in, clean the whole place before check-out or risk EXTRA cleaning fee *QR code in theater room to pay for snacks and drinks on site with note saying they're all counted.* Inaccurate pics - there isn't a room with two twin beds, there is no piano* No curtains in Master Bedroom-bring an eye mask if you want to sleep past dawn.* Home is directly in flight path of DFW airport departures, with at least 2 loud plane passes per hour during my stay.* 7:30AM alarm on weekdays in upstairs bedroom* Unfinished decking in back yard is a dangerous hazard. Pool was lovely if you can ignore the security cameras watching you Location great-close to park and shopsNugget ice machine - GREAT!
