This property is in need of repairs and refreshing. The ice maker didn't work and the advertised TV service wasn't accurate. The instructions for the TV were useless and there were 6 remotes which confused the issue further. I placed a service call for the icemaker and TV, then I had to schedule an appointment with a repair person to look at the problems. He failed to show up for the first appointment so I had to reschedule for the next day. He showed up that time but was unable to fix the problems. I had to take time out of my vacation to meet with this man. Why should I be responsible for meeting with repair people. That is just wrong! There were numerous small items that made this property disappointing. They included a dirty air conditioning grate, dirt around the base of the toilet, the lock on one of the patio doors did not engage securely, the living room and bedrooms were dimly lit at night (there should be additional lamps or brighter bulbs), the dresser in the master bedroom was missing 3 of the handle pulls making it hard to open the drawers, upon opening the freezer or refrigerator door they would forcefully swing into the cupboards behind them.

Dana Point stay

This was a great location for us as it was close to our daughter and family who lived close by. We were mainly there for sleeping but it was clean and quiet so worked well. Seem week equipped for cooking if needed.

Older Condo that Has Issues

we have stayed in this condo community before and it is gated and very quiet. This unit is older and needs work. The entire unit feels as if you are walking down hill and is sloped. It smelled as if it was musty or had been cleaned with a dirty mop. I tried to be open to the rental, as I know sometimes things need to air out etc. Then the kitchen sink was plugged. Couldn't run the disposal or dishwasher. I called Vacasa right away and sent them a picture, but no one to come fix. While we did use the kitchen it just became a mess and huge inconvenience. The beds were decent and the linens were good. But I would not recommend this unit, until some upgrades can be completed.

Great place

I would highly recommend this location, it is everything we needed in a two bedroom, two bath, a full kitchen, plenty of seating, and great jacuzzi. My only complaint is that the television provides only about 5 stations.

Not as close to the beach as indicated...

One could not possibly access the beach with a "short walk"... it was easily 1½-2mi, depending on the route, with an average of 30 minutes walk-time. There was nothing that stood out here, and the response/hold time for communication with the property manager was longer than one would expect.

Liked the location and size. Furnishings were a bit dated but ok and clean. A washer and dryer would have been a useful addition as well as a few pods for the coffee machine. The pool and hot tub were nice although the weather didn’t cooperate for much use.

The description is accurate. Also, it's close to outstanding hiking trails in the hills by Laguna Beach. Had 3 of my grandkids with. Real good place for families.

I booked this listing for me and my family

I loved this location it was super convenient and nice for me and my family. My husband recently passed away so I booked this for me and my kids to stay while we got ready to attend his funeral and memorial on June 3rd 2022. It was pretty close to the funeral home / mortuary. It gave us a comfortable place to stay with out having to drive long distances. We were also close to family and friends who we had time to visit with. .

Excellent location and rate

I booked this for a conference I was attending at the nearby Ritz Carlton and it was a great property that offered privacy and security within a gated community as well as easy commuting distance to the hotel, golf, beaches, restaurants and shopping.

The condo did not meet the description

The description of the condo was not accurate at all The furniture is not like in the picture and is very outdated Kitchen is not large and gourmet Did not smell the ocean breeze as the condo was a mile away from the beach No nice place to sit outside view of the parking lot The description needs to be changed so people don’t get disappointed As a plus the unit was clean and the beds were comfortable

Disappointed in our stay

Disappointed in our stay, the apartment was not as described, ex: it does not have hardwood floors, the bedding does not fit the bed, queen flat sheets for a king bed so they don't stay on the bed, napkins balled up under the kitchen table to keep it from rocking, etc The apartment did not have a pool access key available and it took 16 days to get it Our stay was 20 days I would not deal with Vacasa in the future
