“Desi’s Hideaway was the highlight of our vacation. We had several incidents throughout the weekend, the only light at the end of the tunnel was returning to our home away from home. Then to top it off, our hosts took time out of their day to aid our family members, that were not even guests of theirs. “I greatly enjoyed working with Tasso, the property’s host. They were very easy to communicate with and worked with me to accommodate some unique needs. The property was so serene and beautiful. The home was exceptionally well appointed and spacious. I had fun introducing my kids to their record player and their enjoyably eclectic album collection made for the perfect soundtrack to our stay. We look forward to visiting again.”

“We loved staying in this VRBO! The house is true to the pictures, very clean, and is pretty large with lots of space for a large family to chill out. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans and a good selection of spices. There is access to the river and it was a very quiet neighborhood. We had absolutely everything we needed and loved our stay.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better place to get away and spend some quiet time as a family. We spent a lot of time in the river and explored the small town of Camp Wood. Everyone was welcoming and the shops were great to explore. We even learned pickleball and played every night. We are already working to plan our next trip!”

“Amazing property for a river vacation getaway!!! House is fantastic, tons of space, fire pit and back deck to hang out. Host are very quick to respond and help with anything we needed. Definitely will be staying here when we come to Campwood. ”

“Comfortable and quiet is what we were looking for and the home met our expectations. Five of us stayed for a week and we had a great time. The house is well stocked which made cooking from home easy. Susan and Philip were great hosts and quick to respond to questions. We’ll be back if they’ll have us!”
