Wonderful wedding weekend stay

My bridal party and I stayed here during my wedding weekend, and everything was perfect! The house is just as pictured and is well-stocked. The beds were super comfy, and it was the perfect place to relax in the evenings. I would highly recommend! The location can be slightly tricky to get to, but everyone got in and out fine.

Hill country gem!

We absolutely loved our stay! A much needed getaway for our family and this property did not disappoint. The grounds are beautiful and the house was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

Relaxing

We stayed there for our daughters wedding at a nearby venue. It was the perfect get away for us and the little ones. It was nice and clean very well stocked. I didn’t think about grabbing some paper towels or dish soap but it was already supplied. The beds were comfy and had lots of room. The grounds were very peaceful. The road leading to it was fun for my 4 runner but would have not worked for my car. Perfect place to relax.

Off the beaten path

We had such a nice, quiet time relaxing and being off the grid for a few days. We live in Houston so we were looking to get away from the city. It was our first vacation since the pandemic began and we were not disappointed. We loved the hammocks, deer sightings, and the chickens on the property :) It was nice and we can't wait to come back for another visit! Paola was a wonderful host.

We had a great overnight here for a wedding in the area. I really wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the property. We live in the Austin area and if we had out of town guests coming I would DEFINITELY recommend this place. So well done, so well decorated. So comfy!

Family friendly

Just what we were looking for! A place to disconnect from the city and connect with family! First time in Dripping Springs and we loved it! Was able to have plenty of time grilling and later around the fire pit gazing at the stars and moon! We spent a day at Pedernales and even drove up to lake Travis on another day! Communication with owner was amazing! Thank You for making such a special place!

nice getaway

Property was nice and quiet. The kids enjoyed the chicken and there was enough room where the dogs could run around without having to worry about other people. Only complaint was the unfinished stairs in the back with no side railing. The stairs were never finished and it made us very nervous with our 2 year old. the drive/driveway to get to the house is a doozy. Overall, we enjoyed it. The nespresso machine was great!

Cute getaway!

This place was super cute and clean. Very nice that it was dog friendly. My ONE complaint was that it lists several places that it sleeps 8 people, but doesn't say until the end of the listing that it's only beds for 6 people which I didn't realize when originally booking. We just thought we'd have a little more space and should have paid more attention to the bed breakout. Pretty close (within 10 minutes) to a few different wineries and breweries that were nice! Definitely pay attention to the SUV recommendation to drive in and no cell service as both were accurate for us. The WIFI worked well though and was able to support our needs. x The fire pit was nice, but it was shared with other guests in the tents on the property. Overall would recommend!

Cute House Outside Town

House was adorable and well stocked with most basics. WiFi was spotty due to location so phone calls were difficult to manage - if at all - but lovely comfortable home! There is a chicken on property (in his own chicken coop) not sure if guests are allowed to eat the eggs or not - but had we known we would have! We were in DS for our sons wedding - so we weren’t at the house all that much to enjoy the peace and quiet!

One night at The Dripping Springs Country Home

A comfortable and clean home in a remote corner of Texas. Myself and my family were in town to attend a wedding. We enjoyed our one night stay in this house. We would do it again. Be sure your vehicle has a high clearance. The last stretch of road to the property is not paved.

Beautiful property, great host

This farmhouse is lovely - clean as a whistle and beautifully decorated. The grounds are also wonderful - we loved sitting in the rockers on the porch enjoying the complete peace and quiet. The road in - well, it is difficult and if you have a car with a really low clearance (like a Porsche) you probably aren't going to want to drive it in its current condition (recent rains have had their way with it!). We had that problem with one of our cars but Paola found an immediate fix where my friend could keep her car safely until we were ready to leave. That said, it is a wonderful rental and we are so glad that we stayed there. Paola could not be a better host, she is so responsive and concerned for your welfare. We would definitely stay there again for our next girl's trip.

The house and grounds were as rustic and beautiful as the pictures on the website.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Casa Oeste. The inside of the house was clean, warm and inviting with calming candles burning and soft music playing when we arrived. The house was abundently supplied with fresh towels, blankets and kitchen necessities. And lastly the owner was so responsive and prompt with any questions or concerns we had. Patty S.

This place is a great family get away!

Please be aware that the road to this wonderful location is not paved and it would be best if you had an SUV or Truck to get here. Once here, it is worth it! We were in a BMW and it did just fine but I would not recommend any low clearance car to get here. The dips on this unpaved road might tear up a low clearance car. The house and amenities are great and very family oriented. The chicken laid a couple of eggs while we were there...It was within 20 minutes to all of our favorite hiking spots.

Beautiful details all around!

We visited Casa Oeste the 1st of January 2019. We were 7: 4 adults, 2 kids and 1 baby. The house is fully equipped, beautifully decorated, functional, very well kept! The surroundings are beautiful, very quiet, bbq space is really nice. We had a great time. Paola was more than nice, always making sure we had everything we needed. We would love to come back! Awesome property!

Our family stayed at Casa Oeste for Christmas. It was perfect for our family. The porch and the outdoor areas are so inviting, perfect for entertaining and hanging out. We just hung out, played games, cooked and enjoyed each other and the property. The property is very quiet. Would highly recommend Casa Oeste if you are in the area. Great place!

The property was just as pictured. Very neat and clean!

Very nice property, everything was as promised for this home site. Though, you will need a truck to traverse the terrain just to get down to the house via the driveway, it would be difficult for a regular sized car to do. This was not fully realized until we received our check in instructions, but we happened to have an SUV rented, so it worked out okay for us. It rained all weekend, just luck of the draw, so we did not get to enjoy all the outdoor amenities. But if the weather was permitting, it would have been great place to set around the fire, enjoy the outdoors, have a cook-out and enjoy time with family. It is a bit of drive to Austin from here, about 45min. but we really did not mind it. Traffic in general, in Austin, is pretty heavy, so it takes about an hour to get anywhere otherwise. It is truly backwoods, limited internet and TV, great for being one with nature. Would come back, hands down!
