I will keep this as brief as possible. First, the Galvestonian is wonderful. We have stayed in other units several times and really enjoy the building. The trip started with us calling to say we would be arriving about an hour early and to see if it would be available for early check in. The answer was yes it will be an additional 30. No thank you, in our many travels we have never been charged for an early check in. Then we get to the unit and it is at best in need of attention! The floors were chipped, the baseboards and casings were damaged, chipped paint, many electrical outlets did not work and the "sofa" was a metal futon with a old stained slip cover and very uncomfortable. Then the most basic of items were missing including no blankets, no bath mat, no tissues and not a single pod of coffee was provided. No instructions on operating the TV were left and the information book was outdated from 2023.
