The house was clean. When we arrived, the house was very cold. The thermostat was set to 69 so we turned it up, but that did not help. There was a lot of cold draft coming in.
For amenities, there were none. No hand soap no bath wash. These are things that are just usually done when someone is hosting a home rental. In addition, the microwave and the dishwasher were not working for use. Also, the TV was disconnected there was no plug and we could not use the Wi-Fi.
Lastly, there was lots of ice in the walkway to the house. I had to literally go out and buy some ice melt to ensure no one in my family fell. This house had a high fee for a two night stay. With the lack of amenities it did not feel luxurious as advertised and I definitely don’t feel like I got my money’s worth or value. I think this is more of a modest house and should not be advertised as a luxury house.
