Property was great. Nice two en suite bedrooms on main floor and then two bedrooms and one bath with lounge area and game room in the basement. Great location. Close to marina and beach club.

Very nice home, and our family had a great time all being together.Working with Grand Welcome was difficult - communication was unclear or, in one case, simply incorrect. There were also four different phone numbers (and presumably individuals) texting information, frequently redundant, unhelpful, or incorrect. When reaching out to any one of these numbers for additional information or assistance once on the property, communication was either unhelpful or we simply did not receive a response.Our main disappointment was the additional fees for use of property amenities. While the listing does state that some amenities require an additional fee, it was quite unclear as to which ones those were or what the fee would be exactly. Extensive digging on the website yielded a document outlining additional fees, all of which are NOT included in the home rental. We asked several times about amenity access prior to arrival, and were explicitly told "the boats cost money to rent but pools, trails, beach etc...you should be able to access those without any additional expense. The golfing is obviously a paid amenity." This was untrue, no amenity access is included in the rental, aside from public hiking or jeep trail access. All amenities require an additional per person fee.

Mountain retreat

The property was very spacious and had a multitude of electronic games as well as board/card games. I had two issues that would take major renovations to fix, but would not keep me from staying there again. The main floor was extremely creaky when walked on and there is no common bathroom. You must go through a bedroom to use the facilities. There was a great common area and also room for everyone to have their own space.

Fantastic Family Getaway

We had a blast during our weeklong stay! The hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating and responsive to all questions that we had. The house is spacious and there was plenty of room for our family of 6. The basement/game room was a particular highlight for us and brought plenty of fun and laughter as we engaged in pac-man and cricket (darts) battles. We can’t wait to come back and would absolutely recommend this home! Thanks for the wonderful memories!!

Spacious house, great Big Canoe location.

Lovely home with all the amenities. Deck is perfect for deer watching in the early morning/early evening. Location in Big Canoe was great for all we wanted to do. Really enjoyed this home.

Beautiful Home

This was the perfect property for our multi gen family vacation. The teens loved the game room and basement area and it was great having the 2 bedrooms on the main floor for the older adults. The house is beautifully maintained with everything you need for a great stay. Brooke from the property management company was quick to assist with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this home. We will be back again!!!

Fantastic house

The house was more beautiful in person than in the pictures. It was very roomy and a great place for a bigger group of people. The house had all the amenities we needed plus some. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The Big Canoe community was beautiful as well. We didn’t get to explore as much as we wanted to, but what we did see was great. Highly recommend this house.

Perfect weekend getaway!

We had the most wonderful time during our stay at Big Canoe! This house has amazing amenities and great hangout spaces for large groups. The location was perfect as it was just minutes away from great hiking spots and the marina! We will definitely be back!!

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay at Summit Oaks Manor. The home was beautiful and more importantly, CLEAN! Great location if you’re spending any time at the marina. I only gave 4 stars on listing accuracy because this property was listed as having 4 bathrooms, but there are only 3.

Beautiful Getaway!

From the moment we checked in until the moment we returned home, communication from the property management team was excellent! They were so helpful with helping us replace a cable for the gaming system that they were unaware was missing. They addressed it immediately and went to purchase new equipment and hand delivered it to the home. They were so kind with helping us with suggestions on places to eat, etc. Big Canoe was great! Driving ranges were great (be advised even in the driving range you must wear a shirt with a collar- our ranges at home we’re not like this so that surprised us). The kitchen in the home was very accommodating and had everything we needed! When we decided to eat out, we very much enjoyed the dining available at Big Canoe. Just a wonderful getaway to “unplug” from the world. The kids LOVED the assortment of board games and Pac-Man, PS4, etc. in basement. Excellent experience 10/10 recommend!
