The property is outdated. But, it really was more than that. From check in,the experience started out poorly. Not one person that I interacted with on staff was friendly. The breakfast in the morning was an awful experience. Aside from it being very dirty, they were out of plates for 30 minutes. They were out of food, like eggs for 30 minutes. There was no where to sit because the tables were always dirty. It appeared that they didn’t have enough staff to take care of all the hotel guests.
There are three elevators at the hotel but one consistently didn’t work so the wait times were awful. In our room, the TV didn’t work. There was only one trashcan in the kitchen area. There is no trashcan in the bathroom or by the sink in the bathroom. Probably the most frustrating thing about the hotel is the parking. After going to our event Saturday night I went into the garage to park. As I wind through toward the exit, there is not a single parking space. Suddenly, another car meets me head on even though it is one way. Since there was no parking, people at the hotel had blocked off the exit. They had also parked along the walls in the garage. So the car in front of me couldn’t exit and I had to back out of the parking garage the entire way. When I went into talk to hotel staff about this, I was met with, “well, we had a lot of people here for an event.“ The staff wasn’t sorry. They didn’t try to fix it. They were extremely unhelpful and acted as though it wasn’t their problem.
