The condo's location is great - very close to any base. Something to know is that the shuttle seems to only run on holidays and weekends, which applied to part of our stay. Also, you have to wait for the shuttle on the road. There is a bus stop sign. We ended up walking over the first day after waiting for the shuttle and then realizing it was probably not running. The walk over to Snowshed is doable for teens & healthy adults. It would have been challenging with younger children & gear. You walk over to the Killington Grand & cross the bridge, which at the time was a sheet of ice. On the other days we drove over to either the K1 or Ramshead. The condo was comfortable & had a great layout. The extra space with the loft with two twin beds was great. The double bed in the one bedroom was quite squeaky, but comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchens were well-appointed. We reached out to the owner with a few questions, as Vacasa connects you with them and encourages you to do. We did not hear back at all during or after our stay. Just FYI - there is a nice wood-burning fireplace and the logs are located just outside at the end of the building. There was no lighter, so we drove out to buy one so we could enjoy the fire. Bring a wine/bottle opener as well. The kitchen had most of what you would need. Laundry supplies were provided, and it was convenient to have laundry in the unit. Just be sure not to try dry too much at once. Overall, this is a great location and layout.
