This hotel was much nicer than I expected it to be. We even got a room with a back door which was great for the dogs to run in the grass outside.

We've stayed at the Gonzo Inn several times. Management and staff were great! Room was comfortable, although voices in adjoining room were evident. Shower could use updating and lotion/shampoo/conditioner bottles could be larger/easier to get product out.

The property seemed a bit tired, worn, and dirty. Location in downtown Moab is fine if that is what you are looking for. The room was ample size but the trade off is a tired property which, in our car, smelled of pets.

We are glad that you enjoyed our unique location. We are proud to celebrate our 25th year anniversary and being remodeled property which do renovations regularly. Cleaning is priority for us and one of the reasons of preference according to the feedbacks. We are cleaning the pet rooms with different method with specialized chemicals. We would like to know more while your stay to be able to assist you. We would love to host you again and assist you more next time!

All the staff were so nice and helpful. We had reservations and were driving from out of town, the front desk called to check on us as we were running behind for our check in. They were very accommodating so we didn’t have any problems getting to our room. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back and stay again.

This hotel is quirky in a good way. We enjoyed clean rooms and having a hotel close to but not on the Main Street through town. We were less than a block away and could walk to most shops & restaurants in town. The rooms seemed on the small side and the walls were thin so we could easily hear our neighbors. But the decor was a bit different from a standard chain hotel and we had a nice personal patio overlooking the walking path with comfortable chairs so we could enjoy our morning coffee & tea.

Cute and unique facility. No elevator, so carrying your suitcase to second floor rooms can be a challenge. Balcony was a nice touch and pleasant. The cafe was great, good food and friendly staff.

Loved our stay at the Gonzo Inn. Front Desk was extremely helpful, especially on very busy weekend. Room was spacious, clean and attractive. Great location and nice amenities including heated pool, hot tub and breakfast vouchers.

2 nights in Moab
Lovely property, just around the corner from main street. Spacious room, free parking. Really nice check in and in general friendly staff. Thought the choices at the cafe were limited, but enough choices were in walking distance. Compared to Denver and Frisco I found the accomodation charges on the higher side, but Moab seems to be expensive for accomodation..

My favorite hotel I have stayed at in a while! Room was awesome and loved the patios! Breakfast is wonderful, and the hot tub and pool were great! Only con was that the locks on the doors are a bit confusing and we locked ourselves out twice, luckily they were super friendly about letting us back in. Traveling with a cat and he has a great time.

The good: the first floor room had a private patio that I could easily access my car from. A/C worked well. Front desk clerk brought my sack breakfast to me shortly after check-in (see below). The bad: the room smelled of fresh paint and the furniture was dated (think 1970's- 80's). The room was very dark despite turning on every light available. The bed was so soft that it just seemed old with lots of padding on top. The early breakfast (before 7am) that I had to turn in the voucher for a full restaurant breakfast for- was replaced with 3 items (a banana, a small bottle of apple juice and a muffin). In short- the overall feel of the place was that it was probably good 20 years ago.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. We would like to hear from you while your stay. We refurbished the rooms this year but nothing made recently. We assigned you the second floor but as you asked for first floor, we changed it. We could do again according to availability. We have dark curtains due to privacy; if you did not want to open it, you would missed the daylight. We have more than one lighting options but we will consider it according to your review. We are changing the toppers per guest request. Breakfast hours are between 7am-11 am and it is mentioned on check in instructions also on website. As you will be earlier, front desk went ahead and prepared to go breakfast for your next day as guest pleasure is our priority. Breakfast items for the next day can be limited due to health regulations. We would like to assist you more next time!

My Husband & I were very pleased with this property. Our room was nice & tastefully decorated, the staff was very friendly & the pool/jacuzzi was wonderful. There was only one drawback, the bed was too soft, we typically like a more firm mattress, but we still slept well. Overall we would recommend this hotel.
