Morillon skiing

Excellent property in very convenient location on outskirts of Morillon. Ideal for four adults blending self catering with access to bars and restaurants in Morillon and Samoens. Well appointed and very comfortable accommodation.

Home from home (but qith much better views!)

We had a lovely stay at Chalet Booboo - it is in a lovely area with plenty to do nearby or a short drive away. The chalet itself was very well kitted out with all the essentials and more. Would recommend to others.

Beautiful comfortable Chalet, I would definitely recommend a stay here. The Chalet was immaculate and every need have been catered for. The management company were excellent and responded immediately to any questions asked. The swimming pool which is run independently was extremely cold and our children came out looking rather blue therefore we only used it once but this has no reflection on the owners as it is out of their control. We drove daily to the village and parked for free in a large car park opposite the gondola, we travelled into both Samoens and Les Carroz in the evenings as both had a little more going on than Morillon.

Lovely property in Good location in French Alpes

Lovely property in good location on the edge of the village of Morillon. Well stocked Chalet with comfortable Beds, and nice Balcony with mountain views. Pretty Riverside village where we were able to swim in the River and swim in village lake as we visited in August when temp were over 30s Plenty of places to visit and go Hiking /walking nearby. The Sixt cirque cheval range was stunning, Sameons where our son went paragliding, not forgetting taking the cable cars and Gondola’s for exploring mountain Hiking and fantastic views over Mont Blanc and the surrounding French Alpes. We also visited Annacy very pretty Mountain/Lake town with its unique canels.. Good location for exploring the French Alps

Bien dans l'ensemble

Dans l'ensemble le chalet est bien, un peu sombre mais belle vue. Par contre, le canapé-lit est bien convertible mais le matelas est absolument inconfortable et il se repli sur lui même, on a du le mettre au sol dès la deuxieme nuit pour éviter cela. Concernant la machine a laver, elle exsite bien mais elle est payante et non gratuite comme marqué dans l'annonce. Et la piscine n'était pas chauffée. Et la terrasse exterieur sur le devant du chalet offre une belle vue, juste pour 7 en particulier la table. Dans le garage on ne peux pas rentré de voiture vu qu'il y a un canapé en plein milieu et nous n'avons pas trouvé le barbecue mais c'était peut etre a l'accueil

Chalet BooBoo review

Beautiful location with stunning view from the Balcony. The Chalet was very clean & the beds were super comfortable. The WIFI was slow & unstable & the instructions asked you to only use in moderation which was not as expected. Also there was no soap, washing up liquid or dishwasher provided & there were only two rolls of toilet paper. The pool was very nice.

Sejour ski

Logement à la hauteur de nos attentes et conforme au descriptif, le chalet est à l'extrémité d'une impasse donc au calme, agréable et bien équipé, proximité du ski bus, seuls bémols le frigo trop petit pour 6 personnes et le WiFi qui ne fonctionnait pas. Nous recommandons vivement!

Really lovely chalet with a spectacular view on the grand massif. The positives - amazing view - nice welcome package - spacious (in a smart way) chalet - comfy beds + bedrooms are downstairs which is really convenient on hot summer days. Rooms stay pleasantly cool - park comes with a small pool - great area for hiking + outdoor activities. Home owners have highlighted a few of their favorite walks. What worked less for us? - for a fam with 3 young kids the space around the chalet was limited. There is a balcony and a small terrace. For games we had to go somewhere else. - the garden furniture was sufficient, yet a bit basic

Very pretty and clean

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Boohoo chalet bedrooms are a nice size and for a change plenty of hangers and storage that’s a bonus. Unfortunately it did advertise free WiFi this was not in the chalet and with 4 children this was a bit of an issue. Also the washer dryer is in a communal space this was also a problem for me as they stop you using it at 6.30. After a full days ski and relax there was not enough time to do the washing/ drying that was needed. Plenty of room in the garage for both washer and dryer ( this a personal thing for me as I prefer not to take washing home) The dining room area is ample and comfortably sat us all. However the seating area to relax in the evening was only enough for 4-5 I would suggest another small soda there as there is plenty of room. The garage area was fabulous with boot warmers on a timer ready for the morning. There were enough logs for a year too for the fabulous burner! The chalet managers were amazing so helpful in every way and although there were a couple of issues I would recommend this chalet to a small family Thank you for a lovely stay

Globalement très sympa, dommage qu'il y a la route. Non mentionnée dans l'annonce.

Maison et acceuil très bien. Cependant, a l'arrivee: "une surprise pas très agréable": le chalet se trouve au bord de la route. Impossible, donc, de profiter de la terrasse ( on entend toutes les voitures, pire que sur les terrasses de paris) ou dormir les fenêtres ouvertes. Un peu dommage, quand on vient se ressourcer à la campagne et au calme. C'était le seul point négatif de ce chalet, malheureusement. Autreument, la maison est fonctionnelle et très belle à l'intérieure.

Chalet situé dans un ensemble d'une trentaine de locations ; il est idéalement placé ( le plus haut donc vue totalement dégagée sur des montagnes magnifiques; pas de passage de vehicules car au bout d'une voie sans issue). Très bien isolé , température intérieure toujours très agréable malgré la chaleur extérieure (~30°C ) . Même si la résidence est construite en bordure d'une route relativement passante, à l'intérieur du chalet ( double vitrage et murs en bois massif), vous n'entendez pas les voitures. Au niveau confort, c'est "comme à la maison". Il ne manque rien, tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer un super séjour est présent . La cuisine est très complète, la literie très confortable. La présence d'un garage est très pratique : nous avons pu y stocker une remorque, des VTT , nos parapentes... Il est très spacieux et la décoration a été pensée avec goût ( embiance montagne ). C'était notre premier séjour à Morillon ( 2 semaines ), ce ne sûrement pas le dernier !!! Si vous aimez la montagne et toutes ses activités , randos, parapente, VTT, rafting, kayak , via ferrata, Morillon est un petit coin de paradis.

beautiful and family friendly

Given the small square footage, we were amazed at how comfortably 8 of us could fit in this chalet. We had a wonderful week and didn't feel crowded even as two families of 4. There was plenty of excellent hiking with stunning views, gorgeous wildflowers, and everything we could have wanted for a week of hiking, all within a 10 to 20 minute beautiful drive. Even more hikes were within an hour drive, so the location was great. We concentrated on the family friendly hikes but there were plenty more hikes nearby that would be in the intermediate to aggressive range. The chalet was tastefully decorated and all the wood paneling and floors were lovely. The vaulted ceilings in the dining and living room made the whole place feel bigger and all 3 bedrooms had a nice view. All furnishings were in excellent condition, including the kitchen appliances. There was even a fondue pot, which was a special treat! We loved that this chalet was on the end of the row, giving added privacy with the convenience of the complex with a pool at the reception which was especially nice for the one day we got rained in. Possible areas for improvement: we found it inconvenient that there were no sinks in the toilet rooms. We personally prefer the sinks to be in the toilet rooms instead of the shower rooms. Also, we didn’t use the master shower because we had trouble keeping the water in the shower. So all 8 of us had to share the tub/shower, which ended up working just fine, but if the second shower would have been functional for us (and a bit larger), that would have been nice. Managers stated a renovation is planned to fix this problem by Fall. We were also under the impression that there would be wifi in the chalet so we were counting on that for communication and weather and researching hikes, but it took a day to get connected through the reception area. Once we were connected it was not that inconvenient to stop by the reception for internet. Managers were also working on getting internet in the chalet. We recommend holding the deposit as a pending charge vs collecting and refunding it. We lost $86 in the exchange, but that was not anyone's fault. The deck was lovely with a beautiful view. Having a table out there was really nice, but a bit tight for all 8. So we mainly used it just a few people at a time. The view is incredible, even eating inside at the dining room table. The owner and managers were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a 5-star experience!

Perfect for Cycling & Walking in the Alps

A fantastic two weeks spent in the French Alps watching the Tour De France 2016. The chalet has superb views of the surrounding mountains from the balcony and from day to day we could watch the receding snow line. The position of the property is ideal within the complex as it's on the end of the top row and thus very peaceful. On site swimming pool very clean and reception staff lovely (just brush up on your French language skills!). The benefit of having a seperate garage was great for locking bikes safely out of the way in between rides. Most major climbs can be easily reached and there is more than enough to challenge all abilities. My wife did take the benefit of hiring an electric bike from Samoens and put us all to shame!! The property is very well equipped with a brand new kitchen which has good quality appliances and suitably well equipped with everything you could possibly need to cater for a big family. The newly installed wood burner really looks the part and would be cosy to sit around in the winter although as the temperature was around 30 deg every day we had no need to test it. Bathrooms slightly dated but hot water was in plentiful supply even for a large family. Road up to the chalet past reception took some careful negotiation due to the lumps and bumps- but a fantastic stay overall enjoyed by the whole family. Would visit again without hesitation.

A good week skiing!

A well equipped, clean, comfortable chalet. The kitchen had every utensil you would need, unfortunately the electrics could not cope with the oven and hob being used together unless all the heaters off, you couldn't boil the kettle if using the oven or dishwasher. Once we had worked out what appliances we could use together it was fine, if not a little frustrating. The lounge comfortably seated all us (5) the large TV a definite bonus. The bedrooms have plenty of storage and the beds very comfy. It would have been really nice if beds had been made up prior to our arrival, especially as we then discovered we had not been left sufficient linen or towels, this was sorted out promptly by the local agent. Overall we had a very good week, with easy access to the lifts and huge ski area.
