We rented with requirements of pet-friendly, 4 bedrooms, and proximity to the town center of Oak Bluffs. The property met these requirements, but we found it to be small/tight and the family gathering area was either in the cold and somewhat dark basement, or upstairs where the television had no comfortable seating for the 7 of us unless we were to sit around the large dining table, leaving some of us unable to see the television.Upon arrival we discovered the coffee machine has not been emptied or cleaned, the Keurig coffee machine did not work (frustrating as we only saw a Keurig in the photos and thus purchased Keurig cups and failed to bring ground coffee - we subsequently found the ground coffee machine and had to go out and purchase ground coffee), the screen door had gaps in it allowing bugs to enter (maintenance staff fixed this quickly) and was a type of screen that was difficult to see through so when the screen door was being used, we could not easily see outside into the yard, and an outdoor umbrella was lying on its side broken (maintenance staff wrapped it up and laid it in the edge of the yard). Other challenges included that, while the yard was fenced, the lattice under the deck had large gaps allowing our dog to get under the deck and escape the back yard. Inside, there were plenty of televisions, but, as previously stated, there were too many unmarked remote controls which proved challenging. There was a game room with a gaming console, but we could not
