Our stay was disappointing overall. Communication prior to and during arrival was lacking, which made check-in and addressing issues more stressful than necessary. When we arrived, the pool had not been turned on, and we had to wait about three hours for it to heat up, which impacted our plans.There were also several maintenance and cleanliness issues that should have been addressed before our arrival. The toaster was broken, the refrigerator was not cooling properly, and there was a musty smell upon arrival that suggested possible dampness or wet carpet. Additionally, there were ants present in the downstairs bedroom, which was especially concerning.While the host did respond and address the issues once they were reported, these are things that should have been corrected prior to guest arrival. Because of these issues, we are only able to leave a three-star rating.
