Come suggerito dal titolo,l'appartamento è stato una vera scoperta: ristrutturato,curato nei dettagli e molto pulito. Consiglierei qualche punto luce in più sul sentiero che porta al cancello e viceversa,fino al cancello dell'unità abitativa. Attenzione a lasciare i vs oggetti personali fuori in giardino,possono facilmente sparire anche nelle ore diurne ( pur avendo l'impressione che non ci sia nessun altro/a in giro presente a villeggiare nelle altre case) ma di questo giustamente non ne è responsabile la società turistica. Non sono rimasta soddisfatta invece,della gestione del check-in e del check-out: sul sito va bene,c'è scritto arrivo dalle 15 in poi.. ma inizialmente mi è stato chiesto di incontrarci alle 16.15 per la consegna delle chiavi! Poi siamo riuscite a trovare un accordo,con flessibilità,ma non mi si può venire a rispondere che prima non si potrebbe perchè ho mandato l'email il giorno ( quando sono stati loro a mandarmi la notifica con tutte le indicazione solamente 24 h prima..). E per quanto riguarda la fase di check-out beh..non essendoci il cancello automatico, dovrete prima aprirlo,uscire con la macchina,tornare indietro,percorrere il sentiero in direzione della vs ex dimora per lasciare le chiavi attaccate alla porta di casa. Non è una faticaccia, ma un pò di praticità ci vorrebbe..Il mio è un feedback volto a migliorarvi perchè il luogo e l'alloggio lo meritano.

Communication before arrival was good. Checked into a dirty little unkept trulli building. Very small, damp and full of mosquitos with no wifi or phone signal. Used the toilet then went out to see the gardens, came back to 4 inches of water in the room from the toilet. No response for over an hour from the hotel so contacted expedia. Spent two hours trying to get expedia to find us alternative accomodation. Took four hours to sort whilst we sat outside being eaten alive by the mosquitos. DO NOT book this awful accomodation. The pictures are misleading, this place is horrendous and not fit for purpose.

The room was so small you had to step outside to change your mind. Bed springs in the back. Had 3 nights but left after first night. Lost a lot of money but just couldn’t stay there.

Showers need a revival, there are issues with some of the taps and shower heads. The toilets make a lot of noise when flushing. The shower upstairs smells of sewage. The boiler is not big enough to suit 4 people, the boiler has a capacity of 5 minutes max. The refrigerator is a disaster, it is to small, it has nog holders in the door and it was not turned on before we came and took more than a day to get cold. It doesn’t hold enough water to support 4 people let alone food. We don’t mind things are dated, but the kitchen is sticky and the hinges don’t work properly. Under the microwave it was dirty, we noticed this because the ants kept going there. The oven was dirty. We also missed surplus of cups and glasses. We love the setup of the terrain, but also dated and lots off broken of stuff stashed outside. Like the parasol, and some furniture. The pool is very dirty, and we don’t think the pool is kept up and serviced enough with freshwater. Outside there are a lot of lamps that are broken, it is not safe without the lightning. Overall the outside has been left to long, it doesn’t look like it has been kept regularly. Lots of ants in the kitchen, we did clean after every meal but without airtight storage for food they keep finding their way even if we closed the packages. We had to use the dishwasher to store our food. No broomstick to clean the floors. No deluxe villa but outdated, dirty villa, very disappointing. The only deluxe is the view and potential of the villa.

Lovely scenic and quiet to relax by the pool in the sun. However the tiny apartment was dirty and needs a deep clean. The shower had lots of black mould on the grout around the tiles and down the walls of the shower. The floor was grotty and there were ants all around the sink when we arrived and the whole time we were there. There was no plug for kitchen sink to wash our glasses up. There were no champagne or wine glasses but there was a cork screw. There wasn’t a kettle to make a cup of tea. No large knives to cut up a melon and Only one pillow each on the bed. No security lights for going down the stairs outside at night…. It’s there but not working. Even the patio outside the door where our table was dirty …. Needed a good sweep and wash.

This was once a nice property, but is now very tired, in dire need of a refresh, both with decor and also utilities. Cooking utensils are sparse, apart from cutlery (not even a wooden spoon on site), so do not expect to do a lot of cooking. Also, an army of ants will be waiting eagerly to consume any morsels of food left lying around, so make sure you clean all surfaces perfectly. The 'host' could not have been less interested if she tried and ignored questions on WhatsApp during our stay about recycling and also about the lack of mop, which prevented us from cleaning the floors during the week we were there. On the positive side, the showers are great, it is close to the centre of Ostuni and also supermarkets. Two and a half stars, rounded up to three.

Nice location with parking. Photograph looks nothing like the property’s pool. It’s actually a small round pool that was closed and looked more like a kids paddling pool. Patio full of ants. Small accommodation that needed more airing and mosquito nets to allow. TV impossible to operate. Very disappointed.

The location and grounds of the property were fantastic. The accommodation itself was fine, although it felt like it could use some TLC - dirty pool, broken outdoor lighting, damaged outdoor furniture. Our interactions with the property managers were disappointing. The check-in was not ideal, with the beds not properly set up as requested and the agent seemingly more interested in selling add-on tours (although they did correct the mistake quite quickly). Questions over WhatsApp were either not answered or not answered very helpfully. And, the check out was unpleasant with the agent hovering over us to take the keys as we tried to organise our children of 4 and 6 out the door. We also found it a bit off-putting that the cleaner also regularly crossed our patio past glass-doors in the kirchen to access a cupboard for products when cleaning other rooms on the property.

Unique dwelling, family accommodation

My teenage girls loved this place. The pool was a hit regardless of the temperature being a bit on the cool side. Fabulous views out the the sea. The house was incredibly unique and characteristic inside the domed styled building. The kitchen as probably not overly practical in all fairness, but it was fine for a short stay. There was parking which was free. The property is a little bit further away from the main part of the old town than we realised. Probably a 20 minute walk.

Les photos du lieu sont bien prises mais la réalité est différente! Le studio supérieur est extrêmement petit, il ne faut pas avoir deux grandes valises. Il pourrait être cosy, mais tout est vieillissant à l’intérieur. Le matelas doit être très ancien, nous avons pas osé regarder sous les draps. Point positif, l’emplacement, Ostuni rapidement accessible à pieds et pour visiter les alentours en voiture. Le jardin doit également être agréable en été, si la piscine est entretenue.

Cheap and cheerful

Apartment was a little small although good value for money. The company informed me that check out was at 10am at least 4 times when I informed them the first time I was leaving at 8am for my next destination. Location was good 10 min walk into the town.

A true mini paradise in Ostuni

We absolutely LOVED everything about this property. It was an extremely peaceful, mini paradise. We were very impressed with the quality & quantity of everything provided - the beds were big & VERY comfortable; the kitchen had multiples of every dish, cup, glass, utensil you could possibly need; we had plenty of towels. Everything worked - the plumbing, the wifi, the lights. Best of all, this little house was exceptionally charming, decorated with beautiful colorful tiles everywhere and arched, stone ceilings. Every corner was lovely & thoughtfully adorned with beautiful decor but functional as well. The huge terrace offered astounding views of the sea & rolling hills directly in front of us & was the best spot for breakfast every morning. Lastly, the property is conveniently located only 10 min away by foot from the Old Town center so no need to drive. When I return to Ostuni, i will definitely return when this property is available. It’s the perfect holiday spot! Grazie to Palma :-)!
