“It was a great location. We did find the car park a little bit tight and tricky to get into (as the road was fairly busy when we arrived). The cottage was great and had all we were after and the downstairs bathroom was great for my elderly Mum. The two single beds mattresses were a bit past their best so the only thing I’d suggest to improve the property would be an update of those. Otherwise it was a great place to stay right on the river.”

“Great little place for couples. Convenient walk to all of the shops and restaurants in Ambleside. Shower design was a bit tricky.”

Beautiful living quarters with every amenity possible, WiFi, TV, dishwasher, in fact when we leaving we had already made our minds up about giving it tp marks.Almost forgot to mention the hot tub, which we spent several happy hours in!EXCELLENT HOLIDAY.”

“Very pleasant small property. 5 mins walk from central Ambleside. Well equipped and warm. Perhaps a bit small for a family of 4 but great for two people. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Only one parking space but a car park 4 mins walk down the hill. Would recommend.”
