First, let me make it clear, the flat/apt was cute and clean. However...the building is a dump. Having lived in Philly, you expect things to be old, but old doesnt mean unkempt. The front security door doesn't close all the way, so there is not a great sense of security. Next, the railing on the stairs, which are really narrow and steep, cannot possibly be to code...there are areas along the railing that you could break your fingers if you fell because of the little to no gap between the railing and the wall. Best yet, don't fall at all because if you did you may get an infection from the carpet on the stairs....no amount of cleaning can dave the carpeting...a HAZMAT team needs to come in and remove it before it can be replaced. Also, the A/C units in the flat were less than efficient....the one in the living area leaked water down the wall, and the one in the bedroom was barely cooling.
PS...if you are elderly or have mobility issues, this isn't the place for you...it is on the third floor and there is no elevator.
