Wonderful views, great stay. The living portion of the home was all upstairs and the stairs were difficult for mobility concerned people. Also the driveway was very steep. If you are able bodied, this is an amazing stay. If you have trouble with stairs, this home has some steep ones, and the driveway was steep enough that my car couldn't get back up it until I cleared all the leaves from the driveway. The rooms were very comfortable and the living room had an amazing sunrise view over Cape Code Bay

To start the house was very clean with great ocean view. The walk down the steep driveway was tricky. The stairs to go to the upper level is tight, the only ac is a window unit in the upstairs bedroom that looked dated, didn't try it. The pots and pans are so old we couldn't use, same with the bbq grill, could be fixed without spending much . Add says don't use the stairs to go to the water but nothing stops anyone from using it, the walk to the water access is not 8 house's down it's 16. Good location great views would be great with a little effort on people's comfort. Would stay again if the owner takes a look around and fixes what needs to be done... mainly pots and pans,bbq grill wobbly railing on deck. There is a kcup coffee maker so bring some if you drink coffee.

The views are spectacular. Home was very clean. Driveway is extremely narrow and steep. For anyone that has mobility problems this is not the place. While the stairs to the beach were closed,this was not a problem and we were made aware of this prior to our visit. We did have to call the management company for the lock and the shower water would not turn off. They were very responsive to our call.

The water views were amazing. We spent mornings on the deck having our coffee. We were disappointed that the listing pictures were not accurate. It listed partial AC but only 1 room had an air conditioner. I would not consider that “partial”. The bedrooms on the lower level did not have adequate room darkening curtains and the beds had been moved under the windows facing the morning sun which made it hard to sleep after sunrise. There was no access to the beach from the property as the stairs had been damaged at the bottom and that was not noted when we booked. The private beach was a key reason we chose this property. The property manager was attentive and came to address our concerns but could only do so much. Overall it was a disappointing stay and not of the standard we are used to when traveling.

View was great deck fine we ended up leaving early Not decent air conditioning issue with no power to upstairs bath bbq a mess had to but supplies to use No info regarding the area No info that local beaches are only for residents so got 100 fine These issues made it hard we had fun with family but would have liked it it to be in better shape

Anniversary getaway

Overall nice stay. Home was super clean upon arrival, check in was easy. Beds were comfortable w nice fresh linens. Showers were nice, plenty of hot water. Views were excellent and the deck was great for morning coffee. I must note some disappointment however w listing accuracy regarding access to the beach. The stairs did not actually go down to the beach, and stairs were in disrepair, weeds encroaching. If you wanted to go down to walk the beach you had to walk down the road to an old boat ramp, also in rough shape no longer in use and walk down rocks to sand. Was a nice walk at low tide but not easy access and definitely not beach access direct from property.Also while there was a grill, it was also in disrepair, back leg broken, was being supported by deck railing, fire hazard? and little or no gas in tank. We used the kitchen instead, which was well equipped and clean.The home is a nice spot to have as a base for heading out to local activities, restaurants, town of onset,plymouth etc. And local beaches are very close although we did not go to the beach. We enjoyed the views from the uper deck and lower viewing deck.I would suggest for future renters to bring beach chairs and perhaps a small cooler, beach umbrella if you choose to go to beach. We did indeed enjoy our stay but wanted to be honest in the review.

Family vacation on the shore

This house has a great location and an amazing view. The deck and family room look out to the water and provide great views of the sunrise. Our family used it as a perfect launch point for day trips to Plymouth, Cape Cod (all the way to Provincetown and Martha's Vineyards) and to Boston and Salem. The property is good sized and comfortably fit our family of 6 adults. Two of the downstairs bedrooms have views of the water. The property has an old coastal charm. The deck was very large and was a perfect place to have morning coffee or a meal. The yard has a stairwell down to the rocky shore, but it was currently closed off. The house is on a hilly shore and there is a fairly steep paved drive you need to walk up and down to get to the house from the street. Additionally, the internal stairwell is a tight stairway that you need to climb to get to the kitchen and living space. The decor is comfortable but not fancy. It was a perfect place for our family vacation.
