Es un hotel all inclusive con mucho que mejorar o mantener mejor, las habitaciones son antiguas sin el mantenimiento apropiado, el agua caliente de la tina nunca calentó, muy pocas opciones de snack, el bar no tenia pra hacer todo tipo de bebidas, un enfuche de la habitacion estaba malo, la ducha tapada, el agua salio del baño, realmente el hotel es decepcionante.

We really loved this property. It is the last hotel/resort at the end of the road so it is super quiet. It was small, so no large crowds. The pool deck was full everyday but the pool was a little cold the last week of February so very few people used it. Pros: good service, food was decent (especially if you tipped the cook), huge rooms, huge bathrooms, great hot water/water pressure, clean resort. Very very very very quiet. Interesting nightly entertainment. Cons: Very hard to get reservations at the 2 "specialty" restuarants. The one near the pool we didn't really enjoy. We did enjoy the asian by the front desk but didn't get in until the last night of our stay so there was no opportunity to have it a 2nd time. THE SAND FLEAS/FLIES (read more below) Interesting things to note: 1. There is no music by the pool, the only music was at night (about 5/7 nights) by the front desk they had performers of different instruments. This resort is eerily quiet, even with about 100 guests there. 2. The sand flies/fleas are NO JOKE- we have been many different places and even other places in the DR and I've never been bit. I got bit so badly all over my body that we only attempted the beach twice. The resort provides bug spray and the first day I was so hungry I skipped it before we ate and the waiter had to go get me a bottle mid-meal. I got so itchy that the calamine lotion we bought at the sundries store did nothing. Had to resort to rubbing toothpaste on them for relief.

There is a lot of good and bad to say about this property. First of all the good, the rooms are wonderful. They are huge, about 700 ft.², with beautiful comfortable beds, a double shower, two couches. Just very roomy and nice. As far as the rest resort, it definitely needs some work. The level of cleanliness was lacking. From dirty towels piled up at the pool, to plastic cups of half full drinks left everywhere, it needed a little more attention to detail. The staff, for the most part, were friendly and efficient. But housekeeping was subpar. Dirty hand towels that I had thrown on the floor, indicating they needed to be changed, were picked up and folded and put back. The tub looks like it hasn’t seen a good scrubbing in a while. Since this is an all inclusive, I can’t say that you should expect five-star food. This was more like two star food. Nice fresh salads and eggs for breakfast. But the fruit looked old. Dinner buffet seemed to be recycled from the night before. Not very appetizing. The resort could be really beautiful. Right on the beach etc etc. But everything was just a little shabby and needed a good wipe down.

I was looking for peace and quiet after a stressful work season...Le Sivory was perfect! I was impressed that my room was all ready when I arrived early. I love the layout of the suites, which gave me an amazing oceanfront view. The staff are kind and attentive. The security on premises contributed to my feeling very safe as a single female traveller. I love that chairs, loungers, and daybeds are available at each of the buildings, so there was plenty of seating for the beach dwellers. Some reviews talk about the lack of food options. While it's true that the buffets did not engage in vast quantities like other resorts, the options were more than adequate and tasty, too. The scallop ceviche and strawberry mango cake are phenomenal! I actually did prefer the buffet over the Japanese and Mediterranean restaurants. My one criticism is that after a couple of rain storms, the grounds crew were not very quick to remove the huge amounts of seaweed and accumulated trash from the beach. The poor fellow who raked the piles together did a great job, but the piles were not picked up even the day after. Overall, if you are looking for a place to unwind, I highly recommend Le Sivory and will definitely be returning in the future!

If you are a traveler who shuns the big all-inclusive party resorts, then you will love Le Sivory. This boutique, all inclusive hotel only has 55 rooms and there are ample places within the resort property to stake out your own private spaces. Resort guests are cordial with each other, but respect one another's privacy. Low key, laid back, excellent attentive service that makes you feel really pampered. For my husband and I, this resort was perfect in every way. Currently, it is far away from the bustle of the main Punta Cana strip. In fact, it is the last resort in the Punta Cana area.

Loved the size of the property with only 55 rooms it was an incredibly relaxing place to stay. The staff were wonderful and friendly, the pool and beach were wonderful and the food was pretty good. The gym is a bit small and way to warm and we found the deserts and red wine option a bit disappointing. All is all we will be going back as it is our kind of vacation

Liked having a view of the ocean, not overcrowded, relaxed atmosphere. Did not like that the bars claimed to include top shelf alcohol (I.e. Bombay Sapphire gin) but what was being served from a Bombay bottle was evidently not Bombay gin. I don’t ind drinking local alcohol, but don’t give it to me and tell me it’s something else, and don’t charge like you are selling top shelf stuff when you definitely are not. Did not like that the hotel was starting to look tired overall - hedges and grass untrimmed, excessive noise and odor in one of the restaurants (OMI). Did not like that the nightly entertainment was loud to the point that you couldn’t carry on a conversation, and nothing was done to change it even though several guests asked about it.

The best part is the beach, its absolutely amazing. The resort is very small and very quiet. Would think that would translate to high quality but it doesn't. The wait staff and bartenders were nice but the food wasn't that good and the drinks were worse. The thing that really turned me off of the resort is someone was able to get into my safe in the room and take a large amount of money. The people at the desk basically said I was lying. Talking to some of the staff said that its happened a few times before but the desk staff said that was true. Totally disappointed

Prior commenting on this point raised, I would like to mention here that nearly 9 out of 10 guests, rate our hotel; Le Sivory Punta Cana with very good and excellent reviews and always highlighting the friendliness, helpfulness and how careful our team members are and how hard they work to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable and memorable stay – and this refers to all of our hotel departments. It is therefore with great skepticism and sadness that I have read the comments posted above referring to some of our departments and our team members. We really appreciate every comment made by our guests however it appears that your comments made, do not do justice to our hotel, especially for the particular incident that I recall. Coming into commenting to your main led down point expressed in your review, kindly note the following with regards to the incident with believed money stolen. As I was informed further to your review but also whilst you were here with accompanied in our hotel, and when you reported this to our Management Team, our Reception Manager who was the Duty Manager on the day you have mentioned, our Executive Housekeeper have gone beyond their duties in order to thoroughly investigate and assist in every possible way. With every respect, allow me to remind you that from the moment that you claimed of being stolen from your room safe deposit box, we have proceeded into the below steps while you were here at the resort: • Done a room lock interrogation report on which nothing suspicious was found or anything to imply that someone could have possibly enter your room at anytime for no apparent reason either to clean/inspect or fix something. This was fully conveyed to both of you directly Reception; our Executive Housekeeper in the presence of our Secutirty Manager. • Further to your initial recommend you report to the Police into the hotel, to whom afterwards you have refused from what I was informed,to follor your claim and placed a report. Furthermore, as you were also stating on your review that our in-room safe deposit boxes can be override, by just pressing reset and then 000 and then any of them could be open, please allow me to strongly disagree on this. I have made a further examination both with our Chief Engineer and our Guest Relations Manager, both in the room in which you stayed in as well as in other hotel rooms, and there is no possibility that any of these could open if there is already a set password on the safe box, which always requires a 4-digit code and not a 3-digit code as you mentioned on your review (000

BEACH- was perfect! Soft sand, clean clear water (with no seaweed and moderate waves). ALSO, not crowded and the hotels beach chairs were great and conveinent! You can walk from the pool or room right onto the beach which was also great! POOL- was nice! Not a big pool but this resort is NOT a big crowded type of place so the pool size was perfect and also not over crowded! The staff was good about cleaning it every morning. ROOM- I had the Premium Ocean front which was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Had a balcony, king bed, and separate seating area (with two couches). Only thing I would have preferred (and I suggest that the hotel consider) are maybe have a few less palm trees. They blocked the ocean view alittle too much. FOOD- was decent (NOT anything special). I think the issue is that they are trying to please everybody and so the menus and options are mediocre and all over the place. They should focus on specific authentic Dominican food and maybe have a high end seafood option (since it’s on the ocean). Overall not bad. REASON I CHOOSE THIS PLACE- it seemed peaceful, beautiful, and less rowdy then most of the other places. THAT IS EXACTLY what it was. If you want loud music and a party vibe (there is nothing wrong with that) but this is not the place for that (which I appreciated). I would go back if I was to visit again!

Far from anything. Staff not helpful although they were friendly. Needed a reservation for dinner although just a few restaurants and people at the place. Met some people who said there safe was robbed of $2500.00 and no police contacted and no “big deal” because evidently it happens there often.

Furthermore, as you were also stating on your review that our in-room safe deposit boxes can be override, by just pressing reset and then 000 and then any of them could be open, please allow me to strongly disagree on this. I have made a further examination both with our Chief Engineer and our Guest Relations Manager, both in the room in which you stayed in as well as in other hotel rooms, and there is no possibility that any of these could open if there is already a set password on the safe box, which always requires a 4-digit code and not a 3-digit code as you mentioned on your review

I stayed for 3 weeks at this resort over the New Year into January. The staff is fabulous! Great place to disconnect and relax. As a solo traveler, I felt 100% secure all the time. Security guards kept very good track of me. After reading the reviews and doing my research, then staying the length of time, I was pleasantly surprised that the age range of the guests were all the way from 18 to 100. I had a bit of issues with the bug bites. The resort does everything they can to help. If you are prone to bites be prepared. You are in the jungle so expect the bugs. Overall I was very happy with my stay and miss the staff already!!

Liked the beach and the ocean. Did not like the lack of attention to details such as our patio door would not open, we had to call for towels once and call for more toilet paper. I prefer sit down service at meals. The main food service area was buffet which did not change from meal to meal. The two nicer restaurants only served with 24 h, reservations.

The beach wasn’t the best but it was cleaned of seaweed daily the best they could. The beach furniture was uncomfortable and needs to be replaced - had to spend most of the vacation at the pool. Need entertainment at least 3 times a week.Loved the Spa and the employees.

This place is definitely for those who wish to relax and enjoy some quiet time. We had a beach front room with a pool but never used the pool, however, I believe it was one of the best rooms on the resort. You can walk right from your room to the beach and it was fantastic. The staff was very nice and accommodating but we had a few reservation mix ups due to the language barrier and our room was not stocked with water everyday so we had to ask a few times before getting it stocked, but we are not uptight about things like this so it was not that big of a deal but I could see it was a problem for other guests on the property. We definitely came home relaxed and refreshed.

The property is on a lovely stretch of beach that is not interrupted with hotel after hotel. It feels very secluded and unbothered. We were at this property a year ago and we were glad to see that they have upgraded the chaise lounges that are on the beach to those that are much more comfortable. It is the staff that makes this place very special. They aim to please and unique in that they remember your special wants and needs.

We were completely eaten up by mosquitoes at this resort. Food was average and service was hit or miss. Only 3 sit down restaurants that required reservations even though the resort was not full.

We had a very relaxing and perfect stay at Le Sivory. The rooms are clean and big, all staff members are friendly and the food was very good. On Christmas Eve we enjoyed a special dinner, it was really delicious. During our stay they offered 2 yoga classes which I really enjoyed. The hotel area is very green and quiet. There are little flies and bugs that bite you but the hotel offers you free bug spray (basically everywhere, in your room, at the restaurants). We used it all the time we were outside and we got a few little bites but that's nothing that would keep me from booking this hotel. If you want to relax in a peaceful and beautiful area I can only recommend Le Sivory.

This property is very (too!) smoker friendly. They allow people to smoke at any outside area, which is most everywhere. I had not expected that. Also, they use plastic straws in everything, some of which are directly on the beach. Other than that, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious, the rooms are spacious. We had a jacuzi on our patio, but I wish there was more privacy for that. Note that this resort is tiny (55 units) so it will never feel really busy. Also, it is the absolute most northern resort of Punta Cana. The national park is right to the north of you. That's nice, but a lot of mosquitoes live in that park. However, the staff do aggressively spray in morning & evening, but every guest (there were 40 or so when we were there) had visible mosquito bites. I counted my bites and had 27 on my legs alone in the 5 days we were there (during December 2019)

This hotel is an ideal place for those who want to explore the wild but beatiful nature of Punta Cana. The hotel's area is small but very green.
