“The loft was in an excellent location right on Bay Street in the middle of the historic district. We parked our car on Thursday afternoon in the Bryan Street garage only one block away and didn’t move it until we left on Sunday morning. Savannah has a wonderful transportation system called DOT that is free. We also did loads of walking and always felt safe even at 10 o’clock at night. The only real complaint we had was not being aware that there are 20 steep steps when you enter off the street...

If this was mentioned in the description, I missed it. It wasn't a big deal for my husband and I, but others might want to know this. “Wonderful location that is approximately 1/2 mile walking distance of almost all the historic districts. Added plus is the provided parking space. Apartment was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Love all the old woodwork. It is also at one of the Old Town Trolley stops making it very convenient.
