“Pura Vida is everything its VRBO description says it is. Comfortable. Spotless. Convenient. Quiet. The property provides easy access to the many attractions of Sarasota, Venice, and Englewood as well as to the many islands in the Charlotte Bay Area. “Property was clean. Major issue was that it was much smaller than we anticipated from the listing. We barely had enough space to walk around the bed. The room was that small! Outside was nice but needed to be cleaned upon our request. Pt friendly? If we had pets it would have been too crowded. Street it was on had a lot of traffic and noisy at night. Light system and A/C were difficult to use. A/C didn't work consistently. ”

“The previous reviews I read about this place were spot on; it’s a great location but there is late night bar and street noise to deal with as you are right on ocean boulevard and atop riptide pizza place and a newer taco restaurant and bar. “We loved the location! The neighborhood is charming and walkable to downtown Sarasota. We loved the secluded garden that was so inviting. Unfortunately, weather didn’t permit us to take advantage of it. We hope to return! ”

“Doug and Candy were the perfect hosts. The unit was fully stocked--there was nothing that we needed. The bed was super comfortable, and came with extra pillows which you don't find in a lot of rentals. Plenty of towels including beach towels. The outdoor space was very nice for enjoying your favorite beverage especially in the morning and early evening. The location was perfect--very close to the beaches of Anna Maria Island and LECOM Park for spring training. We highly recommend renting this...
