Overall our experience was good at this rental. We stayed with our two dogs and found the property spacious and definitely dog friendly. However there was a lack of transparency when it came to the online listing details and when we got to the property. We had our dogs with us and once we found the door to the unit we saw a fenced in backyard which got us excited so that our dogs could run around. On further inspection of the inside unit it was posted that the backyard was off limits which meant we had to go to the front of the house for bathroom breaks. The walkway was also really icy for us when we arrived and we fell multiple times to get into the side door entrance. It would have been a helpful heads up from the owner prior to arriving or maybe putting some salt down before we arrived. The property was fairly clean but there were stained on the bedsheets. Also the kitchen does not have a full fridge it has a mini fridge and we would have appreciated more utensils (cutting knives) for preparing food, all we found were pumpkin carving knives. There was also a posting inside the unit that stated there were designated quiet hours which was not posted online. This unit is in a house basement so expect to also hear people upstairs walking around and being active during the day. Overall our experience was good but again we wished there was more transparency and detail on the listing before we rented the space.

There were full garbage bags at the entrance that smelled and there were pop and food spills on the floors. The price looked good until you check out and there were manyore fees that were not clearly stated. The bathroom towels were dirty and the tiny path to the door was icy. The beds were reasonably comfortable.

First of all, there is an image of a full-size fridge with freezer in their pictures. When we arrived, we found there was only a mini fridge. When I asked the host about it, he told me that he had changed the description in the amenities and therefore it was not fraud. We had brought food with us that was wasted because we couldn’t refrigerate it all. I had asked to get a parking pass for the street as we had two cars After four emails to him with no promised link I figured it out myself. Worst of all the house is not properly heated the temperature of the house covered between 64 and 66F. They provided space heaters so you could only be warm in specific spots. Also, this is an illegal apartment one room has no window and the other has a window over 6 feet high so there is in fact no escape route in the event of a fire. Considering that we are using space heaters, this was a great concern. They should not be permitted to rent this space in the winter.

My friends and I couldn't have asked for a better spot. The rooms are nicely sized, the common area is great, and the pool table and ping table were the cherry on top. Highly recommend if your trying to look at places to stay outside Toronto.

Nice quiet stay

This property is very clean, almost noiseless, and spacious. We were there for a medical visit and had a very relaxing stay.

Nice but could be excellent

The manager of the property was very responsive if i had questions. The property could have been cleaned a little better, especially the gaming area. But overall it wasnt too bad. The heat was the biggest issue. The temp got down to 38F and it was rayher cold. There is not a central heat system. You have to use space heaters. Its a large space so it was difficult to regulate. Thebpool was still closed and the back yard looked a little neglected. No sitting area, just some dirty outdoor chairs. The neighbohood was nice and quiet, except for the person upstairs making alot of noise on our last day, during the night it was totally quiet. But local to alot of things to do!
