“Lovely cottage in a nice quiet village. Plenty of local shops close by. Very comfortable place, all the amenities to make it home from home. Unfortunately I was working, but it was lovely to come home every evening, nice and warm and welcoming. Great wifi and plenty of DVDs etc to entertain yourself. I could imagine in Summer sitting outside in the garden and relaxing. Well worth a visit. ”

“Everything about the property was great. Staff, bedroom, breakfast all brilliant. We feel we should have been warned about the scaffolding and plastic sheeting all round the front of the property, which virtually obliterated the view. Providing a bottle of Prosecco and 20% off the our next stay is all well and good, but didn’t mitigate our disappointment, considering it was quite expensive!”

“I wasn’t going to leave a bad review, as I know it can be bad for business. Instead I raised a complaint through my travel provider, they contacted adventure parc to investigate. Unfortunately I didn’t get as much as an apology from adventure parc, so have decided to review. Our pod was full of mould, during the wet weather, rainwater seeped through the wood. I noticed mould high up on arrival but didn’t notice the mould at low level where I slept until the morning, by then we were checking out,...

“Friendly and helpful host. Room spotless, excellent breakfast. Great location, quiet but walking distance to village amenities. ”

“Our room was nice, clean and bright with a large window facing the road. Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay. However check in was late at 5pm with an early checkout at 10am. No breakfast or lunch option due to being out of season and no fridge to store any food over night. Great for walks but anything else you need to travel out by car.”

“Breakfast was great. Lots of choice, from continental to full English as well as lots of options in between, whether you want just egg on toast or boiled eggs, including vegetarian or vegan option. Room was really great, all amenities that you would need. The shops and restaurants are just 10mins walk away, so location is great, and one of the few places that offers off road parking. ”
