“Lovely clean modern hotel .the staff were all so friendly and we were made to feel very welcome.No lifts at this hotel so if your not good with stairs best not to choose this hotel and Points to improve on were that a few things in the room were broken like the chair and a few snagging issues like a flickering light in the bathroom . “Generally the property was nice, however having stayed at similar properties over the years, I think there were a few things which could be improved. These are personal preferences but I think its the smaller touches which make all the difference. For example, it would have been nice if guests were given bath towels rather than the smaller sized towels, with spares available at the property. As the property had a hot tub, robes would have been nice. The tea and coffee selection was very basic....

“The room was clean and plenty of towels. WiFi wasn’t good in the room but very good in the bar. Breakfast was average, would have liked more selection in the “bakery section” maybe a bagel, crumpets, crusty bloomer. Fruit selection was lacking too. Swimming pool and facilities surrounding it were clean but dated but we had a good time”

“ Faded Victorian excellence trying to satisfy today's tourists and not quite managing it (building is over 190 years old). Our double room was more like a single room. Buffet breakfasts Ok, dinners no more than average. Car parking difficult!”

“Check in was very easy and quick. The room was nice and comfy, a little on the small side, but the view was good. The bar staff were very friendly and the young lady waiting on was very helpful, she even managed to find us a pack of cards to use. Breakfast was very good, it was nice to be served at the buffet and again, the staff were friendly and efficient. Overall, a really nice stay and we would certainly come again.”

“The hotel is nice. The hotel pub is the same. And the staff is polite. The coffee machine DID NOT WORK in the room. You couldn’t even put the mug (from the hotel room not my personal one) to pour coffee in it because it is too big. In the room there are no sockets. I wanted to charge my laptop and other devices, I didn’t have where. There are two “sockets” on one side and the other of the bed STRICTLY for phone cables. Meaning you insert the cable directly. Dos dias antes me vino una obstrucción intestinal y todo el dolor que conlleva. Sigo ingresada en el hospital y he pasado días muy difíciles. Entiendo que aunque era una reserva prepago, se trata de una causa de fuerza mayor, pero ellos no lo han entendido así. Me han cobrado el 100% de la reserva sin ser utilizada. Lamentable gestión. ”
