“Beautifully decorated and super clean. They’ve thought of all the little touches. Location is perfect, around 7 miles outside of town but in the peaceful countryside. We sat on the porch watching wildlife in the back. There are vineyards and breweries in all directions. We visited Monticello and even mountain top orchards. Owners were great. We will be returning. ”

“The house decor is an eclectic mix of vintage meets modern and rustic. Great spacious living room/kitchen open floorplan with a separate dining room which worked great for our group of 10! The kitchen had everything we needed! Beds were comfortable with 4 on the main floor and the 5th downstairs. Note - There is no bathroom downstairs! “The Plainfield Cottage is a perfect getaway. We came in for a graduation and were quite busy. However, each time I stepped into the cottage, it felt peaceful, bright and clean. A great retreat to unwind and relax at. Cathy was very attentive on any needs we needed, as there were few because it was well stocked.”

“This was one of the nicest VRBO's that we have stayed in! Everything about it was wonderful. It was clean, well-appointed, bed was extremely comfortable, communication with the owner was great, and the location was lovely... just a short drive from Monticello, downtown Charlottesville, UVA, and the Blue Ridge Skyline Drive is about 30 minutes away. There are also great restaurants close by. I would highly recommend this property!”
