The bathroom sink stopper was stuck down, so it wouldn't drain. Had to stick a bar of soap in to keep it up so I wouldn't have to stick my hand into nasty water to let it go down the drain.
My son went to get ice and there wasn't any. He was told the machine must be broke by the desk clerk. Since there wasn't ice, I put my 2-liter bottle of pop in the mini-fridge. The following morning, it was frozen solid and had to be thrown out.
During the night, I noticed the room seemed to be getting colder, so I used the 'remote' to raise the temp for the room. I bundled back up into bed and tried to sleep, but once more the cold woke me up. I located the wall thermostat and saw that the temp displayed was 65 degrees. So I attempted to turn it up, and saw that it started at 45 degrees and I had to raise it all the way up to 77 degrees. In the morning, the room was only at 66 degrees, and when we checked out at 10:30am, the room was only at 68 degrees.
During my shower, the water kept getting hotter and hotter. I kept turning off the hot water a little each time it would start burning me. By the time I finished washing, the hot was barely on at all.
When I complained the manager brushed it all off as if my experience at his motel didn't matter. Going so far as to tell me I should have called... Until I mentioned it was in the middle of the night. He just shrugged and didn't offer any type of discount or anything for putting up with a horrible experience in his motel.
