“The vintage feel of the property would be the highlight staying here. The location is good - walking easy to the main downtown and to the Avon theatre. The room was basic but comfortable and included robes and a coffee station. And the restaurant is an added bonus as it serves delicious options in an authentic atmosphere.”

“Habitación limpia y muy amplia. El personal muy amable.”

“The bathtub was cloggeg ”

“Lack of adequate accessible parking. No access to elevator at back of hotel. Disabled and frail guests have to walk the entire length of the hotel at night to get to an elevator. I was concerned for my safety in the parking lot at night. Management has not returned my phone calls which suggests lack of concern for service complaints.”

“This is an old hotel and inside the room with fireplace was OK. Bed comfortable. Outside and the entrance were not maintained. On entering the lobby with no entrance desk or staff we found a maid who registered us. Later she supplied a parking pass. An hour of work with a leaf blower and power washer could make the place looked like somebody cared. No outside light at the entrance . Door not locked at night. Trim the shrubs. Look around , first impression is a lasting impression. Get rid...

“The staff was wonderful and the room was lovely. The only thing we noticed is the hallway outside our room was very noisy. Some carpeting or a carpet runner may help diffuse the echoes. Every noise in the hall was magnified which is not the best at 1:00am.”

“Perfect location, helpful staff”

“La habitación se encontraba limpia, fue en el tercer piso, el personal siempre amable y que ofrecen café gratuito en la mañana. Había una pequeña televisión en el cuarto, tenía buen internet.”

“For 5 rooms there were only 4 free parking spaces. We are seniors...but all 4 spaces were taken when we got to the INN. We parked across the street at the Court House, and walked across the street to the INN. We went out for Dinner and when we came back there was a space in the free parking...so it made it easier for us to access the unit. It was clean, and every inch of space was well designed and used. Real coffee cream would have been nice! You never see staff...but there are instructions on...

“Room was clean. Owner was helpful. No coffee machine No ice No hair blower”

“The room was clean and comfortable. The room had a frig and microwave. It was centrally located to town and accessible for local and touring. I plan to return when I attend the superb theater venues in town.”

“This is the only hotel nearby, so there aren’t really many options to begin with. That being said, my overall experience was good (except for some noisy people in the room upstairs, which I reported to reception, but it wasn’t really addressed); it’s close to the town and in a quiet area, and unless you have noisy neighbors, you should have a pretty decent night’s sleep. The room is not too big, but there’s still a pretty decent amount of space for you to move around. The place looks kind of...

“Beautiful room, comfy bed, nice bathroom and a lovely breakfast included. Easy walk to the small downtown for a bite to eat.”

“Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is in the heart of Stratford which makes for easy walks to dining, shopping and entertainment venues. Parking is safe and onsite. The hotel is over 100 years old so we weren’t expecting modern amenities found in newer properties. That said our room was clean and functional but it is in need of a refresh; rusty shower head that doesn’t allow for adjustment a heater that likely wouldn’t work well on a really cold night. Corridor...

“Great place! Love the decor! Great location! Would stay here again! Only thing I would change is the bathroom sink/console. There's a lot of room to put a deeper one in. The one that is there is like a little airplane bathroom sink. Don't let this stop you from staying because it's a great place.”

“Excellent b&b. Enjoyed hot tub, breakfast, and hosts.”

“The room was clean, and the staff was helpful - but the space itself was like a boarding house. Not at all in keeping with what one would expect for 2026. I booked the room thinking I was paying in Canadian dollars at $235/night- and was shocked by that price when I saw it in person. BUT: When I learned a few days later that it was $235 USD - $344.90 CAD - I was livid. No place that looks like this has any right to charge almost $350 per night. I would totally encourage you stay there if...
