“Amazing views and walks around the hotel. Basic room in need of modernisation. Beds were very comfortable. No curtains or blinds on the window! Toilet was broken on arrival but was fixed within the hour and offered a drink on the house which is nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. You can see the property is undergoing some work so understandable.”

“Zero communication between Victorian House and Expedia, they had no idea I'd booked a TWIN ROOM despite it clearly being the case on the Expedia reservation. I actually would surmise that Victorian House staff just don't look at the reservation details from Expedia? “The staff were great - friendly and welcoming. The room was on the small side but we were only there for one night, and it was clean and comfortable (and the view of the hills was lovely). There was a large fan provided, which was very welcome given the heatwave that was taking place that week, We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. A perfect place for an overnight in the Lakes.”
